*walks in her shoulders hunched against the cold wind*
I can't get sick, not after just getting over that nasty cold.
*sits under a tree and wraps her spare jacket around her shoulders*

*Sits by the edge of the frozen lake, hugging knees*
*Coughs roughly, face growing pale from the cold*
*Hands are numb, almost a chalky white*

Shizuka wandered up to the lake, standing behind Suzumi at an angle, her cheeks pink due to the chafing, cold winds. She exhaled softly and blinked, watching her as she seemed almost... cold? She always thought vampires couldn't be cold. Either way, she unbuttoned her jacket and walked over to stand beside Suzumi without uttering a single word.

*Without a movement of head, eyes glare icily at Shizuka*
What must the caged-up pigeon want now?

Shizuka gave a flinch to her stare. It seemed to stab her with a dull, pointed object right in her ribs. She sat down beside Suzumi and looked out to the frozen lake calmly, her conscious subsiding the fear for the moment. "Are you cold... Suzumi-san?"

No, just relatively sick.
*Reverts eyes to the ice cold lakes*

She nodded and turned her torso towards Suzumi, placing a hand on her arm and beginning to tap her index finger on it, chanting something with a delicate beat. "Suzumi-san will get better gradually with the help of those that love her."

*Rips away from Shizuka, standing up*

*Turns away from Shizuka, sneering and walking along the edges of the lake, away from her*

Shizuka watched Suzumi's back as she walked away. She sat in an indian style and set her hands in her pockets, bringing her knees up to her chest and curling up. She rested her head on her left knee and closed her eyes, feeling the snow beginning to kick up the blizzard a notch.
