The brief emotion of pain shown on Pie's expression. But it was soon gone, as she turned away from Mael, still looking at the ground, "I... I cannot... No... If I..." she shook her head, overwhelmed by the feeling of hate towards herself.

No matter how much you dislike the thought of trying to make you happy, you'd have nothing to do with it...
That person would want nothing more than to be sure you were no longer in pain..
*catches the emotion on her face*

*Bumps into someone*

The someone gives a weird look to Kagami and continues on, leaving Kagami paralyzed with fear, his eyes still reflecting the bloodlust within the look.

Pie turned back towards him, all her emotions now hidden behind a smile. "It.. no.. because... I will.. not let anyone inside..." she shook her head, her eyes determined, "... if.. they are not... If they are not inside.. do not really know me.. then they will not have... the inclination.. to make me happy..." Her hand reached up, grasping the black leather collar placed tightly around her neck.

*Shakes himself back into consciousness, but falls on someone*
"Oops... sorry..."
That someone happens to be Mael
"Hey Mael!! I've been looking all over for you"

*tilts head curiously*
I disagree.
I do not know you..but I know you're unhappy, and I'd like to see you happier.

Pie shook her head, "But.. I am not unhappy..." she said, looking at the ground, once more, her eyes suddenly tired.

*laughs softly*
I disagree once again..You said earlier, "It's too late for me, but I'd like others to be happy"
So...if it's too late for you to be happy in your eyes, then you must be unhappy.

*Notices Pie*
"Hey Mael. Is this pretty girl your girlfriend?"
Kagami smiles, inside his heart is aching to tear out at Mael for not answering him and because of Kuro's death.

"Umm Miss... could you excuse me for a while?"
*Drags Mael to a corner*
"I know it's not the best time. But I need your help. Again."

*shrugs Kagami off glancing at him showing him the bitter coldness in his firey eyes and continues to focus in on the girl*

"Well be rude then... I'll just wait here for you until you shed some light on Kuro's death... we both know that you have more information than you told me."
Kagami says, moving towards a street shop and draining the shopowner of her blood.
"Filthy blood. But I need more to grow stronger... stronger... stronger..."
Kagami's eyes light up red

Pie pressed her palms to her head, overwhelmed. "I... I have.. I have to go.." she said, turning around. Her arms fell back to her sides, as she half-stumbled, half-walked off.

*turns on Kagami as his eyes glow, still bitter, cold, and harsh*

Kagami looks at Mael's disappearing image and then the burnt note, which had turned to ashes.
