*carries her to the beach smiling*

Pie walked down the street snow falling lightly from the sky, catching in her hair. She let out a breath, which clouded the air in front of her, both of her ears laying down flat on her head, from the cold. Her arms were wrapped tightly around her, at an attempt to keep herself warm, but shown by the shivers that racked her body, she was failing.

*walks up the small street slowly, with hands in pockets, trying to fight off the bad mood*

A dull blond ear, that was previously laying flat on Pie's head, twitched at the sound of footsteps. She blinked, bringing her pale cucumber gaze up from the ground, and forward, pulling away from her distant thoughts.

*notices the girl and tries very unsuccessfully to hide the pain and sadness in his eyes as he approaches her*

Pie stared at the male aproaching curiously, "He-Hello" she said, stuttering from the cold. One ear twitched, again, flicking the snow flakes off. She caught the emotions, in his eyes, which made her own eyes cloud with concern.

*nods somberly*

*speaks with a saddened tone*
Sorry, if I scare you.

Pie shook her head, "N-No, you do not scar-scare me," she started, her ears once again laying flat, "But... Sir.. If I may, is... there something bo-bothering you..?" Involuntarily, she took a step towards him, instinctively wanting to help.

*raises an eyebrow*
You're stuttering out of being nervous then?
*shakes his head and sighs*
There is..or there was....
I just lost my oldest friend here...he was killed

"I am st-stuttering out of bei-being cold." Pie said, motioning to the snow falling, with quick movements. Then, at the second part, her eyes widened, "Oh... I-I am sorr-sorry."

*shakes his head*

*walks over towards her and lights himself, keeping the flames a safe distance from her, but warming her as well*

Pie's eyes widened, stumbling backwards, away from the flames, another instinct. It was not something she meant to do, but more of something that brought foreward a trace of a lost memory of hers. Once a few steps back, she looked at the ground, then back at him, "I am.. so-sorry though that I cou-could not be of bette-better assistance. I wi-wish... I coul-could help in some way.."

*puts out the flames and just spreads a warmth to her through his heat*

Pie bit her lip, looking at the ground, her ears standing straight, now, as she was warmed up, "I.... It.. is hard to explain.. I feel.. as if.. I am inclined to help.. everybody... Through my.... life... I have learned that, although it is to late.. for me, everyone should have a happy life... and I would like to supply at least a small amount of happiness..." she said, "I am sorry, I must sound ridiculous.

*shakes his head*
Not at all..I've gone through the last 1400 years of my life like that...
I think, however, that it's quite impossible for it to be too late for one such as you.

Pie shrugged, looking back up at him, "I... may still have a chance... but I am not going to search for it... I do not care about myself.. as long as the others around me are happy..."

And what if..you found someone that was just like you in that regard..and wanted to make you happy?
Whether you looked for them or not, what if they found you, hmm?

Her ears layed down flat against her head, once again, thinking, "I... then... well... I would.." she trailed off, at a loss.
