The Clocktower

"I know death, I've seen death and almost experienced it. However I do not fear death when here because If I fall I won't hit the ground" she said with a small shrug. She fixed the black ribbon in her hair a bit. "Would your question be answered if I was no longer on the hand of a clock?" she asked.

He was still puzzeled at her words surly she would parish if she hit the ground, Maybe she was pulling his leg but the question rose to his head, "Why?" he didn't speak it but his face was riddiled with question but one came to mind, "What do you think of Imortality?" His voice was shaken from the declaration of her safe fall but he didn't want to think it possiable. why he asked her that was beyond him for a time.

"I think it'd be boring" she said. She leaned forward a bit as if looking down at the ground "quite a ways down there isn't it?" she said, smiling a bit. "Why ask about immortality though?" she asked.

He folds his arms and smiles "and death wouldn't be?" he curls his hair with his finger, "I ask because I want to know what you think about it." he lowers his head, "thats all nothing more nothing less"

She smiled a bit and leaned forward more so that she seemed to be falling off the clock tower. She smiled at the feeling of falling and right before hitting the ground she sighed and angel wings that were red, as if stained that color by blood would be one description of them, appeared. The vampire spirit within her chuckled a bit which was only heard in Seles' head. You seem to enjoy my wings greatly Seles said nothing to the other side and flew back up to the clocktower hand she had been sitting on and stood on it now. "That was fun"

He was shock that she to had wing that meant that wasn't lying about being safe he anted to say what are you but that seemed rude and just not becoming of him, But he wished to join her on her perch which was still so high, "That is a Neat trick." he said with skeptical view like he was used to winged humans and such. He wanted to summon desire and show him off but what good is borrowed power at this time, He went back to an earlier question, "Why would you need to clear your head?" he gave her a light look as he removed his fingers from his hair just to place them under his chin.

"I did some things I shouldn't have" she said, looking back at the city with a thoughtful look on her face.

Noah put on his face of wickedness and smiled his voice became deeper and more sure as he spoke, "Ms. Fallen there is no such Thing as something You shouldn't have done." He thought it was the right thing to say It was what he trusted his own power.

"Ah, but I shouldn't have. You see, I broke the rules of my gods for selfish reasons" she said a small wolfish smile on her face.

Noah still playing into her was happy it was for selfish reasons, "That was the best reasons the only reason that should matter." he said like a priest preaching his dark wisdom, "If you desire something go for it you shouldn't be ashamed of your desire you should embrace it." he folded his arms and looked away from her, "But that is my own opinion."

"Then you try it, let's see how far you get before you're beaten down" she said.

He bowed and smiled wondering if she had just threatened him but he didn't care he just gestured at his face, "Correct me if I am wrong But I think I am still quite beautiful,' he lifted his face and ran his fingers over the dark flesh of his face. He spoke once more Still smiling, "Desire has yet to wound me in any way," He then looked back at her, "Did your desire hurt you?"

"Greatly, just not physically" she said with a small shrug. The wings vanished spreading red feathers in the wind.

"If your desire Hurt you an any way then It was not your desire well not your true desire." Noah Lowered his eyes to the ground but his voice was still full of the pride he had. "What did you desire that hurt you so Ms. Fallen."

Seles smirked a bit "That information you will not hear. I barely know you" she said.

He frowned and smiled at the same time, "Ah you are No fun at all My dear Ms. Fallen." He looked at her with wanting eyes, "So what would you tell me then?"

"Nothing about my distant past and maybe a few other things" she said after a bit of thought.

"Then I think that is a great place to start." He blinks a few times to clear the tears from his eyes, "I think people who give too easily are not worth the time anyway, I mean where it the fun of not working for something." He looked at the back of his hand, "Someone told me that trust is needed to know such things."

Seles kept quiet but her expression showed she was listening. She didn't want to interrupt if he was going to continue.

He looked at her for A time after he was done looking at his hand, "Do you agree?"

"I think trust helps build the bridge that leads to the path untold but does not complete it" she said.

He looks at her confused, "What else is needed?" He didn't know what it was she was talking about but he desired to learn. His voice was full of curiosity ready to analyze her with his fourteen year old mind aided by an angel old as time itself

"In meaning of exchange trust means making an exchange with someone when you do not have full knowledge about them, their intent and the things they are offering to you. Though the person giving knowledge has to be willing just like in the situations where there is no trust to be a foundation. Something has to start it and then trusts becomes a foundation which could be like a stepping stone. Depending on how strong the trust is would depend on how strong the stone is. Once you can stand on a stable stone, you have to offer something in exchange for the knowledge such as equivalent exchange. After that you see just how stable your stone is. If the person gives nothing in return you stone shakes if they reject it it begins to crumble and if they accept it it's reinforced." She said, trying to explain "What I'm trying to say is there has to be will. Does that confuse you?"

"So their has to be a will you say," he said running his fingers through his hair. He swayed back in forth thinking about what she said and how she said it it was crisp and well thought out without any gaps for lack of understanding he full understood her. his thoughts were numerous but the question was clear did he have a foundation with this person and question number two did she will to tell him about herself and the question that hit him Was he willing to give himself to her.? The words, "Thank you" slipped from his lips while his face was buried deep in thought. He wanted to say more to her but he was looking for a place to start other than his name ah age that was a good place to start he thought, "So Ms. Fallen How old are you?" He didn't like being blunt like a bat but I worked.

"Sixteen" she said, blinking a bit "I know I don't look it too much though" she added. She was only four feet and eleven inches tall. Seventeen soon though She added mentally to herself.
