The Clocktower

*runs up and stares at leeloo and craiger*

*looks up and see's ash*
*gets up and feels something on my back*
whats that?
*puts my hands on my back and then looks at my hands and see's blood*
what the?
*back is bleeding from skidding across the wall*

*stares at the blood*

Craiger knelt on the floor, his katana sitting a few feet away. He had noticed that lee was hurt.....but as she said, it was no longer his business. If she wanted him to die then he would gladly die for her, he didnt care anymore. Nobody cared about him anymore, he was once more alone in this world.

*appears infront of craiger and garbs his throat* did you hurt her *stares at craiger with yellow eyes*

Craiger stares into the person's eyes with pity, not for this new person but for himself. He ignored his questioned and instead turned his neck to leeloo. "is this the person you left me to die for?" he asked, sadness filling his voice, tears falling slowly from his eye's.

*walks over to them*
i didnt leave you to die....you chose to stay there instead of go somewhere else
*takes ash's hand off of craigers neck and gently pulls him back*

*stares at leeloo*are you alright?

"how could i go anywhere else.....when i had nowhere to go.....when im with you i feel like i finaly belong.....without you im nothing, without you im completely alone.....please answer me, is this the person you love more than i ? " he asked

*sighs and looks at craiger*
im sorry but yes....and you could have gone somewhere...

*looks at ash*
yes...i think im fine...but my shoulders and my back hurts

" nobody cares about me.....and i have nowhere to go.....where could i have gone?" he asked, his head drooped to the floor, his hat was lying near the clocktower entrance and his tie had somehow been torn i half.

*picks leeloo and craiger up and carry's them both to the infrimary*

Craiger relentlessly pulls away from the guy who tried to pick him, he refused to go anywhere before hearing lee's answer.

*sighs*
craiger...people do care for you...and you can go anywhere you want to go...you're just being too stubborn...
*is carried to the infirmary*

Craiger watched as lee and the stranger headed away.
Was he too stubborn?
no.
He merely saw that no matter how much he tried a beast like him could never be truly loved or wanted, he was doomed now to walk the earth alone. He had given up his powers, his previous way of life for leeloo, he had give up everything he had only to have it thrown back in his face.

He would continue to make friends, but he knew that no matter what they said or did for him they wont care for him, and nobody would ever love him.
His tale of beauty and the beast was over. beauty had dissapeared with a mysterious stranger leaving the beast alone to ponder what to do next in his life.
Would the beast ever find true love and friendship?
only time could tell.

Seles was sitting on one of the hands of the clocktower, looking out at the city with her eyes roaming from area to area.

This place this tower stretched into the sky as if it wanted to touch heaven Noah endured high places because they made him feel above human more God than monster, but he was More monster than man he no longer wanted to be a human and feel things as a human did he wanted to be a god but it took steps to become a Man of the skies but what a better place to start by looking down on those You find lower life forms. His steps to reach the point of no return and return from it was more than a metaphor life and death it would be a transaction from Man to god or so he wished.

His breath was short but controlled as he moved along the vines of the tower the stairs that wound like a snake and the gears that kept our human concept of time in check, He smirked, “Gods don’t need time.” He thought as he walked out to the base. He gave slight laugh when reaching the top to find someone was higher than he and preached themselves on the ever-moving hands of time. He knew this one he called her Ms. Fallen because he thought It gave her an air of something or he just liked it so he turned and smiled, “What brings you to such a periled position Ms. Fallen?” His voice bold and full of confidence as he twirled his hair in his fingers.

Seles turned her gaze to him. Taking a moment to put a name to face since she had only seen this person one other time or perhaps it was twice she had seen them. Which ever the case was she took a moment to remember who they were. "It's a nice place to be. Above most things so that other things may be viewed or thought over." she said, her voice a bit quiet. Her throat was a tad sore from coughing before. The wind blew her silver hair around softly and her crimson eyes moved slowly back to the view for a moment.

he looked at her with slight venom but he was still quite Jovial in his reaction, "Ms. Fallen I fear you are right," he was still playing with his hair squirming about it and he thought not much of her at the time but she had more bravery than he who was so sure that death comes quick for the likes of him also he was upset that he didn't have the tack to try it. But he felt it right to praise her, "You look down the others like a god," He bows his head, " If they can't reach you then you are the god."

Seles raised an eyebrow at him "I choose not to trifle in matters of gods nor do I wish to be one. They like to meddle in the lives of others and things such as death do not reach them whether it's death or war or another event that affects someone. Besides, I do not come up here to look down on people. I've seen the effects of that. I come up here to see things more clearly." she said, not wanting to explain the full reason of her actions so she kept it as short as possible.

He frowns,"I know that death doesn't reach them," He shakes his head, "and how foggy do you have to be to risk death for clarity?" he stops with his hair and folds his arms and tilts his head as if he was trying to understand what she meant by see things more clearly, he spoke on that, but his voice was low, "I feel that I can clearly see everything beacuse there is nothing that block your view." He paused and took a breath, " there is only one view that should ever matter."

Seles raised an eyebrow at him. "How am I risking death by sitting up here?" she asked him, confused. She didn't know if he knew her actually race since some confused her for a vampire from her looks but even then she thought that she didn't look like she was risking much by sitting up here.

He looked at her with a slight confused look on his face had she no fear of death he wondered or was she just as ignorant to it as other people. He stood quitely as the winds picked up like a mist in the distance he saw hear hair move with the wind, "Do you not Know of death?" He asked to himself but it was a redudant question then the words crept from his mouth, "Why?"
