Ichiro runs to the river, witnessing all of this through Chappy's eyes. Chappy had just sent a distress signal to him. He decided that running was too slow and released his wing, flying towards the river and catching sight of Maya, who was being cornered by a group of people... extremely strong people.

Their aura was immense, stronger than that vampire girl he fought previously. This was no small matter. Ichiro imagined a shield that would never break and the gate glowed in front of his arm, as the shield appeared.
