The River

*He shrugs*

*He stands up*

*looks down to the comment and exhales, nodding once*

Do not overexert yourself.

*opens a void and looks at Daryan then looks away*

*He nods, stepping into the void*

*closes the void lightly, Daryan appearing in front of his own dorm*

*stays on the ground and lays back, closing her eyes*

*she wakes up, sitting up sharply and coughing*

*winces and a void opens in front of her, standing up slowly and stepping in*

*walks up to the river and looks at reflection*
I look hooooorible!
*sits next to the water and splashes face, flinching*

*closes eyes and sighs*
Koneko would be so worried if she saw me like this...I keep getting into fights...

*rolls up sleeves and washes blood off*
*splashes face again and then shivers*
*pulls sleaves back down and puts hood up*
these clothes suck...

*puts head into knees as wind blows*
s-so cold.....

*walks down the side of the river*

*Pops up*
Maya what's wrong?
*Looks at her as she stays quite*

Craiger lay on his back on the rivers edge, he had his fedora hat covering his face and judging from the soft snoring he was releasing was fast asleep.

*keeps walking zoned out and tripped over the boy without seeing him*

Sorry Maya I wasn't paying attention either
*diappears*
*Eyes go yellow as she looks to see what or who she tripped over*

Craiger grunted as something hit him in the ribs, he jolted awake and his hat flew forwards into the river, slowly drifting away. Craiger rubbed his rib and sighed, watching his hat float down stream. "there goes another one" he said before looking around.

Finaly he saw maya and jumped to his feet "damn im sorry, i shouldnt be sleeping here like this" he apologised, offering his hand to help her up.

*Eyes go a brighter yellow quickly standing up on her own*
I-I-I'm so sorry!!! Spirit get his hat!
*Hat disappears from the water and appears in her hand*
Fire dry the hat.
*Puts the hat on his head*
I-I'm very sorry....

Craiger watches as his hat was retreived, dried and returned to his head quicker than he could blink. He noticed she was still apologizing. "look dont worry about it ok, its my fault for sleeping out in the open like that" he explained with a small smile.

His lefy eye glowed like a red jewel, whereas his right eye was covered by a bandage and couldnt be seen.

*Eyes go green*
It's my fault for not looking where I was going....
*eyes go blue*

Craiger smiled as maya accepted his apology. Why did so many people have eyes that changed colour adoring to their mood? It was so hard trying to remember which emotion went with which colour and which colour went with which person.

"nice eye's " he muttered without meaning to as he pondered upon the colours of certain people's eyes.

*Blinks and looks at him*

Craiger scratched the back of his head awkwardly, he hadnt meant to say that.
"my names craiger" he began with a small pause as his last name made him sound like an evil overlord. "Grimm" he finished

*eyes tint purple as she giggles*

*stands up straight*
So not including sleeping what were you doing out here?

Craiger laughed and went slightly red.
"thanks" he smiled before maya stood straight before him.
"Well whe i first got here i was looking for a place to sleep, then i got tired and fell asleep so i guess there was no need to look" he muttered with a small chuckle.

*Makes eyes go a dull blue*

Craiger noticed her eye's once more change colour however he didnt understand what they meant. His eyelid lowered so that only half of his eye was showing and he stared at maya, after a while his red eye began to glow brighter and brighter until it was almost like a lightbulb. From under the bandages of his right eye a dull red glow was visible.

*looks at him*
Whats wrong with your eyes? There really bright!
*Eyes go back to black*

Craiger blinks and his eyes return to their usual radiance."nothing, just a little trick i learned" he chuckled. "but i cant help wondering.....whats wrong with yours?" he asked motioning towards her now black eye's.
