The Waterfall

*Iori watched her shuffle and then thought about Shizuka for a second*
Mmm...

*sniffs and curls up tighter, forming another fire in front of herself subconsciously*

*coughs and and trembles once quickly*

*Iori sits up and looks at Sakurai like she's crazy*
How does she sleep at night?
*he crawls over to her and pokes her with a single finger*

*arm reflexively goes up and smacks Iori*

*both fires burn brighter suddenly*

*Iori held his cheek and laughed*
What good reflexes...
...but its what id expect from a demon.

*hand drops back into the snow, above her head*

*turns and lays on her back now, breathing slowly and deeply*

(I keep nodding off xD. We'll finish tomorrow!)

*Iori sat beside her and looked off into the dark background*
Its...so peaceful.
No one is around.
Maybe i could practice my...
*Iori sat cross-legged with his hands clenched tightly on his knees*
Lets give this a go...

*stirs in sleep, the snow melting away from the area of her body*

*Iori's breath shortens, almost not breathing at all*
Damnit...it hurts...
*He starts thinking of the things that upset him the most, like how his mother died from the arrogance of his tribe*
*Iori squeezed his knee harder, his hands aching as he gritted his teeth*

*Iori jogged into the area, taking his outer vest jacket off and rolling the sleeves up on his white shirt*

*walks up and takes hands out of pockets, taking off her solid gray scarf and dropping it into a horizontal void, the scarf dropping onto of a bush near the waterfall*

*he spreads his feet out and raises his arms up, shifting into a fighting stance*

*keeps Tenkei strapped to back and spreads feet apart, bending legs a small amount*

*raises up hands and arms and narrows eyes, exhaling*

Why must i always be the first...
*Iori charges in a straight line, then zig-zags at near in human speed once he gets close, throwing a punch at her chest quickly*

*imitates his oncoming zig-zag in an opposite fashion, body leaning to the right of the punch*

*grips his wrist in a blur and pulls his arm up, punching him in the side of his ribs, releasing his wrist afterward*

*Iori feels the blow of the punch and grits his teeth, then throws another punch directly at her own ribs*

*turns torso slightly and flexes abdominal muscles, lessening the impact of the punch*

*drops down to her left knee and using hands, swipes right leg at his feet, her hair still falling down to her back*

*Iori hops into the air, tucking his knees behind him, and cups his hands behind his back, building a flame*
*He was right above Sakurai, a mere foot away when he jumped up*
Hodouken!
*He thrust his hands out toward her, palms out*

Name: Fire Element
Technique: Hadouken
Description: When using this technique, Iori cups his
hands together behind his back and then thrusts it forward, exposing
his palms to the enemy. At that point, a large fireball, about 1 meter
in radius, comes out from his hands and shoots at the enemy at high
speeds. This move only causes instant damage of hit, and does not cause
burn damage. If being used while close to an enemy, it cannot be dodged
unless the person were to instantly move from its path (teleporting,
ect).
Advantages: Causes damage from afar, and is undodgeable when close.
Disadvantages: Most likely will not work on fire
users. Doesnt cause excessive burn damage as most fire-based attacks
do, and it can only be used 8 times in a battle.

*crosses arms in the form of an x in front of her, palms outward towards the ball of fire*

*the fireball disperses three seconds after it makes contact, her body absorbing the fire*

*the impact that it did cause sends her flying back, landing on the frozen water with a crack*

*winces and throws her legs up into the air, stepping on top of the ice and rubbing her arms*

Tch-

*Iori lands onto the ground, then jumps back up into the air, raining down multiple fireballs onto the ice around Sakurai's feet, trying to send her plunging into the ice cold water*

*the ice cracks loudly and glares down at it, standing in a chunk of ice*

I cannot teleport here...

*stands on the slab of ice as it rocks back and forth, creating a snake of fire and tossing it into the grass as it disappears suddenly*

*the snake reappears coiling itself around Iori's leg as it goes to bite into his leg*

*The fire snake burns a coiled up pattern through Iori's pants leg, and he winces slightly at the sudden burn, but absorbs the snakes into his own body before it bites him, then lands back on the ground. Once he lands, he kicks off the ground, throwing his body in front of his legs, and charges Sakurai once again*

*watches Iori charge towards the lake with broken slabs of weak ice*

*He ran toward the lake and stopped immediately, sticking an arm out toward Sakurai and grabbing his wrist with the other*
She's looking right at me so...
*he closes his eyes and snaps his fingers*

Name: Fire Element
Technique: Spark Flare
Stamina Required:
HP Deduction: -0 HP
Description: When Iori has 2 hands free, he can grab
the wrist of one of his arms and snap his fingers with the other,
producing an extremely bright and devastating spark that lights up an
entire area. This spark blinds a person for 3 posts and gives them a
severe headache, which causes disorientation as well.
Advantages: Blinds and disorients for 3 posts. This move cannot be dodged by simply "closing your eyes.
Disadvantages:
Only works if its dark out, or at least not really bright. The person
must be facing Iori, and both hands must be free in order to generate
enough power for the spark. Of course, this doesnt work on blind
opponents.
