The Pumpkin Patch

"Master wants to keep you around to deal out punishments when he feels bad or angry, and justifies the punishements as wanting to keep you safe. Its abuse. plain and simple." Toby said, hugging him gently, not letting go until he hugged back.

*toka hugs him lightly*
but t-toka needs master...who will protect toka?

"You don't need a master, you need a friend." Toby said, petting Toka gently and smiling at him. A breakthrough had just been made.

"I'll look out for you, me and my friend Mugen." Toby said, neglecting to tell him of their relationship, it would only scare him away if he knew right now.

T-Toka need master! Without Master Toka doesn't know what to do! T-Toka never been all alone...
*toka falls to his knees and starts to cry*
Masteeeer!

"You can stay with me. I have a dorm to myself which you can sleep in. You won't be alone." Toby reassured Toka, bending down to his level and smiling at him.

*wipes his tears a bit and puts out his leash*
C-Can nice you b-be master?

*Toby smiled. He didn't wish to be Toka's master, but Toby doubted he would accept any other offer. Toby took hold of the leash and smiled kindly.*

"If thats what you would like." Toby said kindly. Toby was simply going to treat him like a human being, and attempt to draw Toka out of his shell, and show him the joys of humanity.

T-Thank you M-Master. T-Toka do as master says.
*he stands up a bit and wipes the last of his tears*
M-Master can protect toka. Now that pet has master Toka isn`t lost anymore.

"I'll protect you Toka, don't worry." Toby said, gently hugging him, his hand still holding the leash, it seemed to make Toka feel safe, so Toby kept hold.

*Toby turned back to Mugen and called over to him.*

"I'll see you back at my dorm!" Toby called over, turning back to Toka and began to head back to the dorm, allowing Toka to follow without pulling on the leash.

*toka follows his new master smiling a bit and feeling releived*
