The River and Bridge

*He shakes his head*
Nor do I want to.

*sighs*

*He sighs*

*He walks off*

*sighs and walks in the opposite direction*

*Toby and Toka walked onto the bridge and Toby then decided to stop, admiring the beautiful viewand the sound of the flowing river.*

"Isn't it greta Toka?" Toby asked eagerly, a large goofy grin on his face.

Y-yes master Toby.
*he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath*
Its nice here. Toka like.

*walks up the bridge and looks over the edge while walking*

*Toby looked up seeing a girl approaching. Toby smiled, and thought now would be a good time to see how Toka interracts with other people.*

"Hello there!" Toby called over to the girl, waving her over with a large grin on his face.

*Toka jumped at Toby's sudden movements but calmed right down*
A g-girl!? mew!~

*looks up to see Toby and Toka and smiles and lifts my hand to wave*
Good afternoon.

"Say hello Toka." Toby gently coaxed Toka, wanting to see how he would react to meeting someone new.

*toka takes a ffew steps closer to Mori*
H-Hi mew~ I-I'm....I'm T-Toka. mew!
*he looks down and away from mori*

*smiles at him and bows respectfully*
I am Moriko Masako.
*stands up straight*
It is a pleasure to meet you.

"Pleased to meet you Moriko, I'm Toby, Toka's "master"." Toby said, putting emphasis on the master part to show that he didn't consider himself Toka's master, hoping Toka wouldn't catch up on this.

T-Toka nice m-meet! Master say Toka make friends. Moriko wanna be friend with Toka?
*he asked her swaying his tail a bit and looking up at her*

*looks at Toby*
It is a pleasure to you as well.
*looks at Toka*
Well, once we get to know each other, then we can become friends.
*smiles*

"Slow down a little Toka, your enthusiasm is good but you shouldn't jump straight in right away. Get to know the person a little. Then you'll be friends in no time." Toby explained to Toka kindly.

*Toby walked over to Moriko and whispered in her ear, as quietly as he could so Toka could not hear.*

"Toka doesn't see himself as human. I'm trying to help him become human and develop relationships with others, so please be nice to him. He sees me as his master but i'm trying to help him not need a master, thats why i'm wearing a leash." Toby said, playing with the collar and leash still attached to Toby's neck.

*toka nodded at what toby said and tilts his head as Toby said something to Mori but he ignored it*
Yes master Toby! mew~ T-Toka is Toka Kei. Toka like Hot Chocolate and Toka nice.
*he smiles at moriko*
M-Moriko nice too.

*looks at Toby with my eyes only and smiles*
I understand.
*looks at Toka*
I also enjoy hot chocolate. Where I work, that is what I must make along with tea and coffee.
*smiles*

*Toby smiled, glad that Toka was learning, Toby would now simply stay back and help Toka out if he needed it.*

C-can Toka ask where Moriko works? Toka likes hot chocolate a lot mew~
*toka sways his tail more*

*nods my head*
Of course. I work at Master Zander's Coffee and Tea shop.

*Toby continued to listen in, twirling his leash around his finger absent-mindedly.*

M-Moriko has master too? Does that mean Moriko is pet like Toka?
*asks toka putting a hand on his choker*

*chuckles softly, bringing my hand up to cover my mouth partly*
No, I am not a pet. But I do have a Master and a Mistress.
