The River and Bridge

*Continues to tap finger almost silently on the railing, speeding up the tempo*

Hmm. Tell me, why did you try to kill Miss Shizuka?

I didn't, just a simple little prank is all. My intentions were never to kill her, because she would have fought to get out of that river lake anyway.
*Face shows no emotion for Shizuka, except a darkness shadowing*

Au contraire..if I wouldn't have come along, she'd have drowned this time of year. The cold from the water shut down everything in her body, making it quite impossible for her to even try to swim out. It's lucky that I happened by to let my bird fish from the lake. She's still hospitalized thanks to your little...prank.
*shakes his head*

*Leaves the area after a few minutes, leaving no tracks of ever being there*

Keller rested on the railing of the cherry wooded Bridge, her back facing the frozen water. She sat with her legs crossed, her arms beside her, holding the railing. Her hair, silky black and shining in the Midnight moonlight, whipped wildly around her. Her usual porcelain skin was tinted a light, icy blue resulting from the cold, and the fact that without proper Winter clothing, all she wore was her usual mid-thigh length skirt, and matching shirt and tie. She pushed up her black-rimmed glasses, which minimized the effect of her oddly beautiful stone gray eyes.

Flicking her tongue up, to hit the roof of her mouth, she made a clicking sound. "What am I to do...?" she asked herself, tapping one of her feet, so the heel of the boot she wore hit the wooden bridge. "I cannot stay out here... it is cold.... and there is no really... safe place to reside in... And I need by sleep, soon..." Anyone who actually took the time to notice the girl perched on the bridge, would notice faint bags under her eyes. Keller, who had not slept properly in a few days, was running on low. Adding to the fact that she had four broken and one cracked rib, she was lagging... horribly.

*Kenoo slowly approached the bridge. he body was cover in snow, but he showed no signs of being cold *

Keller recognized the voice, before her stone gray eyes fell upon Kenoo, covered in snow. "Yes." she said, with a smile, "I love it here."

I see, and why is that?

*Kenoo stopped walking just short of the railing. He would have went further, but he didn't feel like it.*

Keller looked down, sideways, at the frozen water. "It is peaceful... and not many others seem to come here.." she said, her shoulders rising, then falling. She crossed her arms over her chest, attempting to keep in the little warmth she still held.

*Kenoo finally approached the railing and stood next to her*

It is peaceful, I'll give you that

*Looking over to her from the corner of his eyes he noticed how she was cold. Without asking Kenoo removed his jacket and wrapped it around her*

Keller nodded, "Of course it is." she said, confidently. She blinked, at the jacket being wrapped around her, but soon smiled. "Thank you, Kenoo..." she said, relishing the warmth.

No need to thank me, I saw you were cold. I couldn't just let you be cold, that would be rude of me

*Kenoo gave her a small nod and went back to staring at the frozen lake.*

Keller laughed, musically, and shook her head. She hopped off of the railing, so she stood directly beside Kenoo. "So... what brings you to this wonderful place..?" she asked. Her eyes sparkled, looking at the moonlight reflecting off the water.

Truthfully, I was hoping to see you

*Kenoo glanced over to her, then back to the frozen water*

Keller glanced at him, "Oh.. did you have something you needed to tell me?" she asked, turning fully towards him.

Not really, I just like been around and talking with you.

*keno felt her stare but kept his eyes on the lake*

Keller smiled, looking back at the water, "I enjoy talking to you too, Kenoo..." she said, tiredly laying her head on his shoulder, "Did you know... you were my first true friend, here at the Academy?"

*Kenoo felt her lay her head on his shoulder. She had a very nice an alluring scent to her*

*Kenoo looked over to her from the corner of his eyes.*

Keller closed her eyes, "Yes, the first one..." she said. A few moments later, her eyes fluttered back open. She did not remove her head from his shoulder, taking in the beauty of the frozen waters. "I never thought I would meet... anyone... that would actually take the time to talk."

Why is that? You are a nice person to talk with?

*Kenoo moved his eyes back to the frozen river. It was amazing how something like that could be beautiful*

Keller's shoulders rose and fell, a simple gesture. "I do not know.... it is... " she trailed off, shaking her head.

Keller stared at the frozen water, eyes drooping slightly, "I guess... some people just do not find it nice to talk to me.." she said, finishing the thought.
