The Meadow

Craiger allowed minka to pull his hand away from his face but that was it, once it was removed her softly pulled it from her grasp "and yet some horrible memories, even if they are for a good cause, are powerful enough to leave an everlasting scar." he muttered.

He reached for the cloth again with hos other hand, but instead of simply laying his hand over it he grasped it firmly and waited a few desicive moments before removing it.

Concealed by the cloth was something that didnt seem human, something that slapped the law's of nature in the face. Beneath the cloth was an eye, however this eye had no lashes, it had no eye ball and it was deprived of skin entirely. Beneath the cloth was a portion of Craigers skull, with nothing but a dark void resembling an eye socket.

She made no noise upon seeing the eye. Her face was that of before. Soft and a caring look. The one hand fell back to her said, she continued to look at him, the same as before nothing else. "Even so, a lose is made, yet something great is granted. No matter what, good things come from it, even if they come in the future," She said even more. "For I know it is true."

Craiger nodded his head in agreement "i was once a god set upon the earth to keep balance between good and evil, a boy named artix had upset the balance and it was my job to destroy him. Once that was done i was free to roam again, and i found something that truly made me happy. I had a choice. My powers or my happiness. I chose happiness and this is what i sacrificed" he explained motioning towards his skulled out eye.

"I see. Yet, I find happiness to be more powerful then any kind of power that is out there. Because, love, happiness, emotions, are the best power that everyone could ever have."

A single tear fell from both eye's however the tear that fell from the skulled eye, was not a clear one. It was red. Blood red. The thing that had once made him happy was begginning to grow distant and he was afraid that he would lose it if something wasnt done.

He hastily wiped the tears from his cheeks and looked away from minka "im sorry, you must think me a weak hearted fool" he apologised.

She shook her head and put both of her hands on his cheeks, making hi look at her. "No I don't. People are to cry for reasons beyond our own minds. Don't hide tears around me, for I understand."

Suddenly Craiger fell to his knee's and began sobbing softly. His cool calm and intimidating demeanour had been washed away in his tears. Upon the floor a mix of blood and watery tears were stained. He was alone in this world, The memory of the one thing that made him happy, leaving him possibly forever was too much for him to bare. "leeloo" he sobbed quietly.

She bent down in front of him, her eyes were saddened. She put one of her arms around his shoulder. Min was trying her best to calm him down.

Craiger felt minka place an arm around his shoulder and after a few moments his tears had stopped flowing and he tried his best to hold them back. He rubbed his face onto his sleeve and looked up at minka "im sorry" he began, he looked at is if were about to burst into tears again. "im sorry for breaking down like that.....its just.....the memory of leeloo walking away and leaving me alone is too much to bare even know that we have forgiven one another." he explained

"Its okay...I understand that feeling." She gave his shoulder's a soft squeeze. "Just calm down and take deep breaths." She said in a soft tone.

Craiger sighed before straightening himself out " no use putting on the tough guy act now huh?" he smiled awkwardly. Craiger had gone from serious and mysterious, to sad and dismall and now to a happy go lucky kind of attitude, this was indeed strange. Almost as if he had multiple personality's. however in a sense he did indeed have a seperate personality but this only ever came about if he was excited or angry. whan this accoured a huge and evil grin would spread across his face and this was a sign that he had let his sanity slip away for a short period of time.

She chuckled softy and shook her head once again. Minka stood up, back to her full height. "I guess not." She said to him, smiling.

Craiger smiled as he stared at minka. There was something he noticed about her. Something that had happened as they talked and he doubted anyone else would have noticed it. "its not just me who has changed in the past few moments but you have also changed while we were talking." he smiled.

"No one said I wasn't allowed to change." Min said with a small smirk on her face.

"indeed nobody said you werent allowed to change" he smiled " but what strikes me most" he muttered staring deeply into her eye's " is that this particualr change has been quite a big one" he chuckled "when we first met you were aggresive towards me, and then cold and alone then finnaly you warmed up a little and became friendly." he explained.

She shrugged slightly. And looked up at the sky, as the snow continued to fall, then on her face. "I'm not really normal. I act different for reasons I can never seem to know."

Craiger picked himself up off the floor and stood straight, his face was emotionless once more and he spoke in a calm and collected tone. "who knows what drives us to do the things we do or act the ways we act.....but what i think.....we do these things so that one day we may find the person that we belong with and then live a happy life together with that person." he muttered smiling at her before tipping his hat so that it covered his eyes.

"for now i bid you farewell" he began grabbing the back of his jacket " it has been a pleasure and an honour speaking with you" he muttered as he pulled his jacket and as he did so it strangely obliged with his request and stretched over his face. It continued to stretch around until Craiger's body was gone, then his face and then his hat.

Once craiger had dissapeared a single white rose lay in the space he had been standing. Coming from craiger this was what he would call a sign of respect, however other's would simply call it a mark of freindship.

She laughed softy to the air that was now her only company. Minka had saw the rose laying in the snow covered group. Almost missing that it was there. Though, the green stem was what was sticking out. She bent down slightly, and picked the rose up. "Respect, eh." She whispered to herself. Mostly knowing that white meant Respect to those of many.

*walks in humming along softly with her ipod.*

*walks in putting her Ipod in her ears, listening to Likin Park*
I can't believe I did that... Just great! Now it's gonna haunt me for the rest of my fucking life
*starts to cry a little*

*jumps into a tree and lays on a branch, letting her arms drop down over her sides.*

*notices Kira, wiping her eyes roughly*
Oh, hi...
Oh shit...

*binks and looks at her, she smiles warmly.*
Oh hi.

*still trying to hold back tears*
