The Meadow

She walked into the meadow humming a song.
The cold air blow arocss her hair as she felt that
she was all alone/

"Hai Mya." Whispered a voice coming from right next to her. Lucas had appeared from seemingly nowhere, wearing a long black coat and holding something behind him with his left hand.

She looked over at lucas and her mouth drop.
Wearing a her winter outfit that had a gray jacket
and a pale skirt. Mya smiled to him and hug him slightt.
"lucas it been so long. how are you?"

Lucas hugged her back softly with his left hand. "I know, I've been somewhat busy lately and I haven't gone outside much." He stopped. "How has Mya been?"

"living still, it been hard. All my friends disopeared..and .. died.
let's talk about happy things though" she said.
"what that in your hand?" she asked in curious way.

"I see, I'm sorry." Lucas tiled his head a bit and looked over his shoulder. He brought his right hand from behind his back, holding an acoustic guitar. "Music~"

SHe smiled as she looked at the guitar.
"do you play it? I would love to hear you play it
if you like" she said as she smiled.

"I do play it, I was just doing so a little while ago." Lucas walked to the nearest tree and leaned against it. He brought his guitar up to his waist and plucked two strings together, listening closely to the sound and tuning his guitar to a drop D. He looked down a little and began playing a few arpegios, starting with a C, then an Fm and so on. From that he switched to a simple and short improvisation on a pentatonic to make a Bridge and then kept going with some chords.

She looked at him and smiled.
Walking closer to him she jump into the tree.
"your very good, well for me. I never seen anyone
play guitar before""
Her eyes glow in happyiness for once in a long time.
She love when she hears music.
"Any song yoy can play by heart? I could sing to one" She said
with a smile.

Lucas stopped playing. "Thank you," He said with a smile. "I do know a handful of songs, a lot from Nevershoutnever and The Maine. But you choose a song, I really want to listen to your singing."

Mya nodded not knowing what to sing at first.
SHe close her eyes and than thinks of a song she wanted
to sing than she started to sing a song.

Lucas listened to her, how she could just sing with such a smoothness as if every word was linked together in such a way that only her soft pretty voice was able to. "Your voice is so pretty and cute~" He said smiling.

She smiled at Lucas and look down at him
Mya looked at him and than smile.
"thank you, you sure do look nice today by the way"
"what have you been busy with?" she asked?

"Thank you." He said smiling with a faint blush which was soon brushed off with a sigh. Lucas looked down and rufled his hair. Then he looked back at her. "Exam and such mostly, and a visit to the hospital."

She smiled at him and felt the warth of his smile.
It felt like someone who was very loving. She loved
that feeling the most.
"well, it nice to see you again" she said as she shiver
from the cold air.
"who was at the hospital?"

"You seem cold." He said before responding. He jumped up next to her. "Here." He said handing her his coat. He brushed the strands of hair that fell over his face to the side. "I was."

He gave me his coat. She looked shock at it and look
back at him "You sure?"
"what happen to you? Sorry I didn't show up.."

Lucas nodded. "It's alright, I'm not really cold." He looked at her. "Not many people knew, but I was there for a while to recover from some cuts." He brought his hand to his neck showing her a scar that was just below his jugular and kept going under his shirt. "This was probably the worst one."

She look at the scar and look concern.
Mya place the coat around her and felt the
warmth from his body heat. She looked at him
and smiled "you should be more careful you know?"
Mya move closer to him so she could keep warm.
She looked at his eyes and than ask " so hows life been
for you otherwise?"

"I know but I tend to be forgetful." Lucas smiled a her. "Otherwise it was somewhat boring most of the time." Lucas sighed. "How's it been for Mya, besides you know..." Lucas didn't finish his sentence because he didn't want to mention something that made Mya sad.

SHe smiled as she looked at him.
"pretty good, what class are you in by the way?"
she asked him

"I'm in English 1A, it's the one that caught my attention the most because of the poetry writting. I think it's fun to write poems and at the same time expressive. In what classes are you?"

"I'm in Health and History A3 classes" she said with a smile
"I'm into medical healing, I love to take care of others, could you
guess?" she asked and smiled at the same time.

"I could figure from Mya's caring personality." Lucas smiled and hugged her randomly. "I don't think she'd hurt someome."

She felt the warmth coming off from his body
Mya smiled as she look at him.
"I don't want to hurt anyone,
your pretty warm hearted to Lucas"
The snow started to fall again as she
watch the snow land on the snow that
been packing up.
"This place has always been pretty, even
in the winter time. Don't you think?"
