The Walking Paths

*runs around in wolf form*

Ichiro walked towards the walking paths... and why were they called the walking paths? Some one must have come up with a stupid name like that. That was what Ichiro concluded. He then saw Leeloo, in her wolf form. He smiled and walked towards her. "What are you doing, my apprentice?"

Ichiro smiled and sat on Leeloo's back. He was quite heavy, even though he didn't look it. He weighed at least 60kg.

*looks at ichiro sitting on my back*
nothing...just walking around...as usual...wow....you are light

"Really? I thought I was pretty heavy."

Ichiro says, smiling at Leeloo, wondering how she could talk as a wolf... Wait... wolves don't normally speak... how is she doing it? Ichiro thought deeply, then shrugged it off. It wasn't a question worth asking. At least, not now.

"It's good to walk around... so... do you have a day job?"

Ichiro asked, curious whether he could find job suggestions from other people. Usually the more experienced students would know which jobs were the best, at least by their opinion.

yep....i just found a job today
*smiles and lays down, turning head, looking at him*

"I see... That's good."

Ichiro nodded and smiled, still wondering why she could talk. He looked at her tail and then her head and then scratched under her chin. Most dogs seemed to like it. Ichiro didn't know whether Leeloo would feel the same leg melting sensation.

*shakes leg a bit and lifts my head up more as if howling, but im not howling*

"Feels good doesn't it?"

Ichiro asked, smiling deviously. He then stopped and stood up. If actions spoke a thousand words then his next move would speak a million. He aimed Seki at Leeloo's neck, letting the blade hang. It was as if he was challenging Leeloo. His eyes narrowed as his face became straight. He was serious.

*looks at him then the blade*
*growls*
what?

"I want to test your power."

Ichiro says, bluntly. There was nothing to it. If she wanted to be the Harvester's Apprentice, she at least had to be able to face him in a battle. But not with Ichiro as himself, but as the Harvester.

Ichiro's eyes glowed as his wing released itself and enlarged. The Grimoire of Death appeared in front of him and opened. The whole place became filled with darkness, except for a glowing light coming from the Grimoire, which was floating open in front of Ichiro.

*stands up and changes back to normal, looking at him with a straight face*

Ichiro smiles, knowing that Leeloo wouldn't be easy to beat. But of course, he wasn't a pushover himself. He had been accumulating training without anyone knowing. It wasn't his thing to slack around and just do nothing.

"This is a fight of the Harvesters. There is no winning or losing. You must get seven hits on me. If you fail to that before you are eliminated, you are not worthy of being my apprentice."

*stands ready*
you move first....

Ichiro disappears into the darkness, the light from the Grimoire disappearing. Ten thousand arrows of light seemingly appear around Leeloo while ten thousand swords of light appear above her.

"Judgement of the Twenty Thousand Angels!" Ichiro's voice shouted, as the ten thousand arrows and swords flew onto Leeloo.

*quickly unhooks my ringed daggers from the back of my pants, spins them all around me to block the arrows and swords*
*all the weapons hit the ground*
aww...now come on....you can do better than that

"Of course I can."

Ichiro says, as a gigantic fabric seal appeared from behind Leeloo and wrapped itself around her. Then a thousand needles shot from nowhere into the fabric. Then finally, a gigantic sword came down upon her.

"I sentence thou to... Third Stage Judgment."

mm...thats better
*grins darkly and pulls self slightly away from the needled fabric, jumps up and cuts the fabric with the sword above me, setting me free from it* ( XD )

*looks around for him*

"Much better?"

Ichiro asked, as a bog appeared below Leeloo, sucking her in like quicksand. Meanwhile, a box closed around her, as swords began shooting into the box until the box could not been seen.

*the box explodes and the swords go flying everywhere, moves away from the bog and walks around cautiously, fire all over my body and in every step i take*
come on....a box? really?

*walks along the paths silently, left hand placed inside and right hand wielding a blood covered Tenkei*

*slows her pace down, her now fiery orange eyes piercing the dark*

*runs Tenkei along the snow, the blood covering the blade seeping into the snow and tinting it a pale pink*

*sighs, her eyes now between a fiery orange and golden yellow, stopping her walk and going off course to sit down at the base of a tree*

*He walks by silently, stopping in mid-stride*
Oh, good evening.

*brings her left up and places her hand on her thigh, healing a deep gasp and looks up to Daryan*

Good evening, Daryan. What brings you out here?

*places a scratched Tenkei to her side and continues healing herself*

*He shrugs*
I don't feel like being inside all day.
*He blinks*
Seems you got into quite a quarrel. Would you like assistance?

Ah, no thank you. I can handle this.

*gives a dull smile, now probably common to Daryan's eyes and looks back down to her half-healed leg, moving her hand to her side and healing the gash*
