{{• The ProficiencyI'm searching for the the map of the
future in the center of the intersectionSpecial Ability: Future Sight
- Explanation &
Limits of Gift:
peer into the near future. The limit of his foresight is a mere five minutes,
but he never really goes that far into the future. With this ability and his
immense knowledge in martial arts and fighting in general, he is able to react
much quicker to attacks made by opponents, allowing him to dodge one attack at
will. This ability is quite dangerous as it does detract from his ability to
see. Although it can’t completely blind him, his next attack will probably be
dodged by his opponent because his vision will be blurred temporarily. That is
his major downfall when using this ability. Using this ability more than five
times in a battle could blind him for an entire day. So, he must always use
this ability with caution.
Weapon: Hidden
Blade (Left and Right)
blades, which are named Michael (Left) and Gabriel (Right) after the two
Archangels in the Bible, are strapped to the underside of his wrists for quick,
silent kills. These two blades are well-kept and hidden in a slightly thick
wrist band that causes the blade to shoot out when he touches a switch. The
blades are black with white Japanese Kanji written along the flat portion of
the blade and they read the names of each blade. Although Angels have normally
been stereotyped to be very forgiving because of their compliances to God’s
will, Kisuke and a few others know that Angels must give others punishment for
their sins and must make them repent to receive forgiveness from God. Nothing
is much more satisfying to Kisuke then dishing out the consequences his
opponents deserve, especially when he gets to draw blood using his two hidden
blades. Then again, he was exiled by the other Angels for that specific reason.
{{• The PresenceI believed in dreams always coming true
on the other side of the sky!Physical Looks: Kisuke stands at
six feet tall, with the build of a light heavyweight mixed martial arts
fighter. (Light Heavyweights generally weigh around 186 to 205 pounds.) His
body type is much more muscle than anything with only a five percent body fat
rating, weighing him in at 190 pounds flat, so he is very cut. His skin is
flawless, excluding his tattoos and the scars left by the removal of his angel
wings, and his skin tone is similar to that of a midtone- Asian, which he is
half-Japanese due to his mother’s side. His eyes are dark-blue but glow
bright-blue when using his future-sight ability. Kisuke’s hair is a shade of
dirty-blonde, with a hint of brown highlights in the mix. As stated before,
Kisuke does have a tattoo on his left abdomen. The tattoo is written in
Japanese Kanji and it reads “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be
called the sons of God.” (Matthew 5:9). He also has two scar marks along his
back that are placed exactly where the wings were supposed to grow out but
never did. In place of his lost wings, he has a tattoo of tribal angel wings
that flap when he flexes his back. Generally, Kisuke looks like he’s the type
of guy that hangs around the wrong crowds, such as gangs, druggies, and
alcoholics. Normally, he’ll be seen wearing a white wife-beater undershirt, a
short-sleeved white shirt, a dark-brown leather jacket, a silver chain, a kind
of neck-collar, some tinted Aviator sunglasses, and a pair of dark-colored
jeans, with two black leather belts that crisscross across his waist. His shoes
are almost always black sneakers, excluding times when he goes to certain
locations, such as the beach and the mountains.
{{• The PersonaWhat is there beyond the night? There are
times filled with anxietyGeneral Attitude/Personality: Kisuke
is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to even the most powerful of opponents,
and he generally enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. He does mature as time
goes by, but never really loses his attitude. Kisuke is seemingly unflappable,
not showing fear whether he's being attacked by enemies in his own home or
being attacked by a large, intimidating beast. Kisuke can seem at times to be
uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and
prefers to fight fairly. His callous personality is not due to genetics or
anything else hereditarily related, but it has a lot more to do with the fact
that he doesn’t want to get too close to anyone because he couldn’t bear to
lose another friend or family-member like he did before. Although he may seem
to be uncaring, he actually does care a lot about his loved ones more than most
do. If he is not able to protect his loved ones, he begins to shift into his
"reckless" personality, and takes extreme measures in order save
others, caring little for the well-being of his opponents, meaning that he
would give them slow and painful deaths, rather than the quick and painless
ones he’s been dealing unto his victims. He can be counted on to do the right
thing, even if he makes cynical quips about it the entire time. Unusually,
while he has issues with his own angelic side, Kisuke has little qualms about
accepting demons that choose the side of good. Though Kisuke believes that
Humans are often worse than demons, he refuses to kill full-blooded humans for
any reason, which means that he just incapacitates them to an extent. This is
due to the fact that his mother was a Human and the bond between his mother and
him was the strongest in the family.
Goals: To save the lives of as
many innocent people as he can and to make sure that the goals and desires of
his friends are achieved.
Likes: Training, thinking deep
thoughts in quiet, peaceful locations, and hanging out with friends.
Dislikes: Generally anyone that is
either annoying or anyone else that is a racist, sexist, etc.
Bad Habits: Caring too much about
the people he cares about and drinking and smoking his problems away.
Fears: Losing someone very close
to him and being ostracized by everyone of his peers.
Other: Kisuke was actually born in
the United Sates and flew to Japan to study medicine. He is a skilled fighter
and has taken part in multiple MMA matches, winning every single match almost
flawlessly. Studying numerous martial arts across the world, Kisuke knows a
good amount from the arts of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for ground fighting, Muay Thai
for much more aggressive alternates for his fists and feet, Hapkido for
pressure points, and Judo for throws and grapples.
{{• The PastEven if it's impossible, if we don't do
anything, it will stay zeroParents: Jin Nakamura (Father;
Deceased), Karin Yamamoto (Mother; Deceased)
Siblings: Ezekiel “Ez (Pronounced “easy”)”
Nakamura
History: Born in the United States
on July 23
rd, Kisuke was the child of two foreigners, Jin Nakamura,
Kisuke’s father and whom he gets his Angel half from, and Karin Yamamoto,
Kisuke’s mother and whom he gets his Human half from, that decided they wanted
to give their first-born child the best opportunity in education. His first few
years were spent along the streets of Los Angeles, witnessing everything from
childbirth on the streets to killings. Nights were rough and dangerous due to
the gang members that roamed the streets and the daily dose of gun firings
ringing all throughout the neighborhoods. Through all of these adversities, his
parents persevered and were finally able to afford enough money to move into a
much nicer community away from all of the violence and chaos. Luckily for
Kisuke, they were able to move before he started his first year of pre-school.
As a child, he was very loud and obnoxious, always being
up in everyone’s business and messing around with things that should be left alone.
Many disliked him but never publicly showed it as to not hurt his feelings. Years
passed, and he finally learned that everyone thought he was just as annoying as
the loudness of his voice. He quickly grew depressed with the knowledge that he
had no true friends, believing that idea that his childhood was nothing more than
lies over lies. Without having to worry about making or keeping friends with an
already tarnished reputation, he decided to focus on his studies, hoping to get
out of America to get a fresh start in Japan, his parents’ homeland. As his
stress levels grew increasingly over time, he turned to methods that were
frowned upon by the society in which he lived in. Specifically, he used drugs
and alcohol to relieve the stress and frustration he kept on feeding through
studying harder than most other students.
Despite following this irresponsible lifestyle for
numerous years, he was saved when he met his younger brother. Born just ten
years after Kisuke’s birth, Ezekiel was seen as the attention hog in Kisuke’s
eyes. He was quite jealous, but he came to realize that even he adored his
younger brother and would do anything to make sure he was safe and sound.
Kisuke would do everything with his younger brother, teaching him the tricks of
the trade and giving him advice on life that Ezekiel would forget after a
matter of seconds due to his lack of an attention span. Everything in life was
taking a turn for the better until one fateful day that would change his life
forever.
As the last school bell rang notifying the students that
they could go home, Kisuke was the first one out of his classroom and he went
to a secluded spot a short walk off-campus. He decided to reward himself with a
smoke. After a few puffs of his cigarettes, he went back to the school’s front
entrance only to see that he was the only one left. Everyone had already gone
and only a few of the nobodies were left sitting on the benches. As he looked
around the entire school for a familiar face, the skies grew darker and no one
was left to keep him company with their presence. The winds picked up and gusts
of cold wind grazed his cheeks as he closed his eyes, hoping for an alternative
to his pessimistic thinking. He wanted to believe that they didn’t forget him,
but he was only lying to himself to keep a positive outlook.
The closer he got to his home, the colder the winds blew
and the darker the skies grew. Everything didn’t seem right. They seemed out of
place and that made him a bit uneasy. After walking down numerous blocks, he
finally reached front yard only to see the front door open. Patches of dead grass
were strewn all long the ground while Ezekiel’s outdoor toys littered the yard.
As Kisuke slowly approached the open door to his house, he observed his
surroundings for any clues that would help him reason out what went down before
he entered the house. With nothing unusual in sight, he slowly pushed the door
open causing it to creak loudly, echoing all throughout the house. It was dark
inside and all of the lights were off. Silence filled the cold, empty living
room. Flipping the switch over and over again, Kisuke couldn’t get the lights
to turn on, so he slowly moved towards the staircase from which he would be
able to head on upstairs.
Clouds were forming ominously over the city’s skies. With
each step he took, the floorboards creaked, forcing him to move at a much
slower pace. As he reached the top of the stairs, lightning flashed and light
illuminated the hallways for an instant. It was completely empty, and still,
silence engulfed the interior of the Nakamura home. Step by step, he slowly
approached the only open door in the hallway and that was the door to his
parents’ bedroom. Lightning flashed again and thunders roared in the night
skies. When he was standing at the doorway to his parent’s bedroom, all he saw
was a pile of lifeless corpses lying in a pool of blood.
He didn’t scream, but the shock was too much to bear, so
he left that house never to return again. After days of wandering and searching
for a place to sleep, he came across a nice and welcoming family that opened up
their arms to let him in. Kisuke spent years living with them, keeping up with
his studies and travelling the world with the international exchange student
program. On his trips, he would learn much about martial arts and the different
kinds he could study. When he was sent as an exchange student to Japan, he
ended up loving the people and learning more and more about the history of his
people and his parents. He didn’t want to return, but he had to. Upon his
return, his foster parents gave him a once in a lifetime chance offer to study
medicine in Japan. With that, he was off to Japan, but before he could go, he
had to see his old, abandoned house one last time.
As he broke in and searched the abandoned Nakamura home,
he ran upstairs into his parents’ old bedroom, which he examined with the
utmost care. Everything was still in the same place that he had left it the
night of the murder. As he slid his fingertips along the surface of the walls,
he felt the faint remnants of claw marks along the walls and the floors where
the body outlines had been drawn with chalk. With those in mind, he left the
home unsatisfied and ended up leaving America with a hunger for more knowledge,
which he would acquire as soon as he landed in Japan. With his research, he was
able to come across Hokkaido Academy in which he applied for entrance and was
humbly accepted. He now attends school there studying numerous subjects and
also searching for the identity of his family’s mysterious, unknown murderer.
