The Town Hall

*Toby began to mutter under his breath and the doors of the town hall erupted in a burst of fire. The energy from the tattoo was making him unstable and unpredictable. As quickly as it appeared, the energy from the tattoo disappeared and Toby came back to his senses. Noticing the smell of burning coming from behind him, Toby darted around and his eyes widened in shock.*

"Ignoto Den Leutos Sepen!" Toby incanted, causing the fire to die away into nothingness, leaving the door slightly singed.

"When did I do that?" Toby thought to himself, a little worried.

*walks over to the doors and puts my hand on them*
wow....that was neat...
*turns and looks at him*
how did you do that?

"Which the fire or putting it out?" Toby asked, not sure as to which she was talking about. Toby wondered how often magic was used in acts of terrorism similar to the one he had just performed unintentionally.

*smiles*

"Magic, but i don't remember causing the fire, i was having a rant about having my citizenship reqest denied but then nothing until just now." Toby said, beginning to worry a little.

"Tobias, people just call me Toby though, and don't worry about me, I can stay as long as I'm in education. When that expires, chances are they won't be able to get rid of me." Toby said, thinking of just how powerful his magic will have developed in the span of three years.

damn it..i hate winter...
*fire appears in my hands, tosses it back and forth from hand to hand*

"Rechan Sie Nohgi Jibuun." Toby incanted, causing the fire to drop in temperature over body tempereature.

"There you go, it won't burn you now, and keep you warm." Toby smiled, seemingly indifferent to the temperature, as his magic instictively kept his body at the optimum temperature, never allowing him to overheat or cool down.

"Never say never ever." Toby said, knowing full well that things could go wrong. Toby used to think that about his ability, to understand systems and mechanisms instantly, which he used to perform any form of spell imaginable without effort. But now he was forgetting even casting spells. Things can always go wrong.

*looks around*

"So what are you doing around here?" Toby asked as he watched the flame in the girls hands, noticing that she still had not told him her name. A lot of girls had been doing that recently...

uh..just felt like walking around...and you?
*spreads the fire on my arms like it was lotion and it goes into my skin*
did i mention that my name was LeeLoo?

"No you didn't, pleased to meet you." Toby said, his eyes struggling to remain open. Toby hadn't slept in 3 days, due to a mixup in the allocation of his dorm, so he had remained awake, exploring the town.

hey whats wrong?

"Nothing major, just haven't slept in three days. There was a mixup in my dorm assignment and I've nowhere else to stay. So I haven't slept." Toby said, yawning widely, his body screaming out to him to sleep.

oooh....yeah i dont have a dorm..sooo i just sleep anywhere
*laughs softly*

"I've never been able to do that, i guess i could just use the necropolis, i can always turn the coffins there into a bed." Toby said, smiling weakly, struggling to stay awake.

oh i love sleeping in coffins

"Never tried it, but I'd be worried of sensory deprivation. That can really mess you up."Toby said.

*looks down at my arms and slightly smiles*

"Well I'd best be off, don't want to pass out halfway to the necropolis." Toby said with a weak smile and headed off, waving as he went. Just as he left sight of Leeloo, another dose of black energy escaped from the tattoo, causing Toby to lose cosciousness, and pass out in an alley.

*leaves as well*
