*tears up a little*

*looks her directly in the eyes still flaming with a little bitterness and coldness to them now*

*trembling, tears falling as she starts to fade*
I dont know of anyone but that other girl that has part of my soul...She seems to care for you quite a lot and you her...
Im slipping now...

*shakes his head*
That's never going to happen.
She's with Abel, he can take care of her, and her, him.

*almost in tears*
I-I really dont know Mael...I haven't been here in so long...I dont know people...I-I'm sorry...Th-the clock...its ticking...
*voice is fading*

*leans down and kisses her, letting her feel the bitterness in him and pulls away*
You don't have to return that...I don't expect you to.

*looks at him very sadly, almost hearbrokenly, a look no one's ever seen in her eyes before*
I-I'm s-s-s-sorry Mael...
*tears begin to fall as her form fades away, shaking*
*the feeling of her lips brushing his cheek is left as she's gone, the same as her voice echoing the words "I'm sorry"*

As I figured..
*walks back up through the gates blasting them open, almost off the hinges, eyes blazing*

*walks up, eyes a soft, gray, sorrowful purple*
Kuro....
He's passed on...I can feel and smell him...but..then i can't...He's just...gone...

Minka walked up to the south gates, in her new attire. "Hm..." She hummed to herself seeing that the gate was nearly blown off.

*sitting on the ground, crosslegged, and staring up at the gates*
Kuro....

She tiled her head, seeing Chimi. "Chimi....something happen?" She asked, tilting her head.

*nods and looks back, eyes a cold, dead grayish purple*
Kuro's dead.
*voice is soft as ash*

She sighed softy, going over and sitting next to her. "I'm sorry.."

*looks back to the gate*
Hnnnh....
*stares at it blankly*

"He's in a better place Chimi, he can look over the people he loves..."

*laughs bitterly, eyes flickering blue once*
Ha....He cared for those he loved here...There IS no better place. I've SEEN the other side; i've been in his shop, seen what he's done...

She nodded her head, staying silent. 'I shouldn't say anything, i didn't even know him.' She thought, just staring straight ahead.

*sighs and stands up*

*walks off to Kuro's shop*

She watched as chimi left, standing up and going her own way for the day. "There's so many people dying, I wish we can do something about that." Minny thought her hands in her pockets.

*Toby wanders up to the gates of the academy, carrying a few bags.*
"Can't believe its been two months already since father assigned me here, I'll have to write to him..." Toby muttered to himself as he remembered the experience clearly.

*Toby had been assigned to find his cousin whose father abused him due to unintentionally killing his sister. Expecting for it to have been a routine job, a quick pick up, Toby didn't expect to get so attached to one area. Having spent the last few years travelling the world on various assignments for the family, Toby assumed that he was taking in more that life had to offer.*

Having been sitting on the gates for a long time, humming, Isabella looked down at Toby, then squeaked and closed her eyes immediately.
Sh-shouldn't have done that...why AM i up here anyway?!

*Toby snapped out of thought and noticed a girl on the gates, frozen in fear.*
"Hey are you all right?" Toby asked, worried in case she fell, he didn't want to have to start his first day at the academy giving a statement to the police.

Laughing softly, nervously, Isabella nodded.
"I-I'll be alright. One minute."
Taking a small paintbrush out of her pocket, she began to paint what seemed to be a set of stairs, but, amazingly, on the air. As the stairs took form, she began to climb carefully down the set.
