North Gates

*looks at the ground and narrows my eye brows to see a strange, faded, shadow figure on the ground*
*looks up and sees a girl*
Good evening.

*nods back moving a bit and staying quiet*

*whispers to self*
Must not be very social.
*walks up to the gate and then looks at the lock on it and sighs*
*looks up at the girl again*
Excuse me, do you by any chance know how to enter through these gates?

*leans over the gates more to look at the doors*
You knock on them and the gatekeeper will let you in.

She speaks.
Oh, well thank you.
*looks at the gates and knocks three times*
*waits for the gate keeper and looks back up at the girl*
If I may ask, do you attend this academy?

I do. As well as teach one of the classes. Yet at the moment, I reside someplace else.
*leans back and jumps down to the other side of the gates letting the doors open*

*watches the gates open and smiles, walking in*
*bows to her*
Thank you.
*stands up straight and looks at her*
I am Moriko Masako. You may call me Mori, if you prefer.

*bows*
It is nice to make your acquaintance. I am Riza Shiga.

*nods my head in a bow-like manner*
It's a pleasure.
*looks around and smiles, then looks up at the sky*
It seems to be getting a bit dark. Is there a place where I may reside?
*looks at Riza*

*turns and looks back at the dorms*
You can sign up for a dorm over there.
*points to a building*
They will assign you a number and you may place your things there and live for the time being.

*looks in the direction that she is pointing in*
Ah, thank you.
*looks at her*
I may sign-up tomorrow. Right now, I feel like wondering the academy a bit. Would you like to join me?

*nods*
Thank you for the invitation, yet I am supposed to be under someone's watch. It was nice to meet you.
*turns and walks away*

*bows to her and then stands up straight*
It was nice meeting you as well. I hope we meet again.
*watches her leave and then walks into the city*

*walks up, with no guitar, and leans on the gate*

(Trying a new RP style, bear with me, please.)

Aerie walked with her eyes fixed to the ground, wandering with no specific destination in mind. She continued for some time, when she saw the foot of the iron gates come into view.

She raised her head and stared at the gates, slightly awed by the fact that she had never seen it until now.

She stepped back a little to examine it, but seeing something out of the corner of her eye, she paused.

She turned her head to look and saw Shungo leaning against the gate.

She stood for a moment in stunned silence. She had not expected to see anyone, much less Shungo, here.

*Eyes closed, Shungo crossed his arms and dropped his head*
*he began to mumble something under his breath, and after a while, it could be recognized as singing. Japanese to be specific*
*he continued like this, not knowing someone lurked around the corner*

She tilted her head slightly at his actions. She could see him duck his head but could not hear him singing.

Slowly, she made her way to him and stopped a few feet away, where she was sure he would hear.

"Hey, Shungo..." she greeted hesitantly.

*he stopped singing after he heard the voice, but didnt lift his head*
Aerie, right?

Startled by his question, she blinked.

'What...? He doesn't remember who I am...?'

"Yea... Don't you... remember me?"

Aerie stared at him, disbelief clear in her face.

*looked up, his eyes black*
The darkness was speaking to me, and only has one tone of voice.
Its extremely loud, so i couldnt make out the voice.

Aerie relaxed slightly, but didn't move from where she stood.

"Oh. Am I... bothering you?"

She laced her fingers behind her back.

damn...that urge is comming back...
*pushes off the gate and straightens*
Do what you like.

She walked a few steps forward and stopped. She tilted her head to the side.

"Are you... still mad?"

'And more importantly... do you still love me?'

She began to tug a lock of hair mindlessly.

*eyes swirl in darkness*
No.
Not really.

'His eyes are dark... I wonder if it's a bad time to talk to him... But if I don't talk to him now, when will I have another chance?'

Aerie stepped a bit closer, so that she was now approximately a foot away from him, a normal distance.

"Then.... may I have a hug?" Her voice was slightly playful, but hid a note of caution. She readied herself for instant rejection.
