The Waterfountain

*walks to the dorm with her*

"Hoo, boy..." Cho sighed. "Lost again..."

She lightly slapped her forehead in a form of facepalm as she made her way to the waterfountain that seemed to be located in the middle of nowhere.
Dejectedly, she plopped down on its edge and squinted at the various signs and lights that spotted the city. She read them aloud to herself, as if it would help her somehow.

"'Hospital, Sweets, Dolls'... Not exactly what I'm looking for..."
Tiredly, she ran a hand through her short, lavender hair.

"Ah, well..." She blew a short blast of air into her bangs.
"Might as well explore."

She stood up from the edge of the fountain and looked to one side.
'Which way should I go?'

*walks in whistling*

Cho turned at the sound of the whistling.
She wondered if she should say hello, but felt rude to do so.

*sees her*
oh hello names katashi and u are?
*smiles*

Cho smiled, grateful that he was friendly.
"Cho. Nice to meet you," she said, returning the smile.

*smiles and kisses her hand*

*smiles again and stands up looking at her*

Cho blushed and shied away slightly.

"Ah, umm... Thank you..." she said, ducking her head in a small, bashful bow.
She took her hand back and lightly touched the place where his lips had met her hand. Another wave of heat flushed her face, and a light red hue dusted her cheeks. She moved her hand up to her face to brush some hair aside in an attempt to hide her embarrassment. Feeling flustered, she tried to make conversation with the new boy.

"I'm sorry... I'm new here. Have you been here for a while?"

i have been here for about half a year
i haven't seen u here before so nice meeting u
*smiles*
*sees her blush*

*kisses her hand once more seeing if this is the reason she is blushing*

"Oh, I see. It's nice to meet you, also..."

Her eyes widened, and she blushed when she felt his lips on her hand. Quickly, she pulled her hand back.
"Just... No reason..." she lied. She looked away for a moment as she tried to change the subject.
Delicately, she sniffed the air. She blinked.

"Vampire?" she questioned.

yah how did u now?
*smiles*
*stands up*

Cho grinned and tapped her nose lightly.
"Vampires have a distinct smell to them. Have you noticed?"

no i haven't
*smiles*

Cho returned his smile warmly.
"Maybe I'll be able to show you one time. Would you like that?"

sure
*still smiling*

"Okay, then," she said cheerfully. "Here, let's start with this..."

She approached him and extended an arm towards him, exposing her wrist.
"Smell," she directed.
"I think that you should smell a bit of lavender..." she sniffed her other wrist to double-check, "... and another more, musky, sweet scent. The musky scent is characteristic to most vampires."

She tapped one of her temples in brief thought.
"Actually, it might smell different to you. But go ahead and give it a try."

Oh ok
*smells her arm*

*smiles*

Cho laughed.
"Thank you," she said with a grin. "You're too kind," she added teasingly.
"Could you detect any vampire in me at all?"

Nope all I smell are the beautiful smells of flowers*

'He seems like a helpless romantic...' she thought to herself with a small smile.

"So you like flowers, then? Which would you say is your favorite?"
