The River

He noticed her looking at the sky and took the time to lift his bandage up and scratch his right eye while she was distracted before also looking up at the clear, dark and starless sky.
"its pretty when its just a blank canvas of darkness with but a single light to guide the way....but i thinkits much better when there are countless small lights to keep you company" he chuckled.

*Giggles a little*

*Points to her right eye not wanting to be mean*

Craiger knew what she was talking about, he didnt have a problem talking about it he just didnt like showing it to people because they normally freak out or begin to feel sorry for him. "this is my punishment for thinking that i could love and be loved in return" he said in a grave and serious voice.

*Lets out a little emotionless laugh*
You thought that...... We all do I guess...... I know it but I still fall for people..... It's not good....
*Crawls over to him*

*Her eyes now a dull blue as she looks at him*

Craiger didnt kow how to answer that question, he had never seen his reflection since it happened but he could tell it was bad by the way people reacted when they saw it. he sighed and grabbed the end of the cloth "ill just show you" he muttered as the rag fell from his head.

His right eye was....gone. All that replaced it was his bare skull and a dark hole that lead to the inside of his skull. Around the edge the skin had healed so there was no chance of it growing back and no amount of magic could heal such an evil curse. The skeletal half of his face stretched down to his cheek bone.

*frowns sadly*
Oh.... How bad....
*Lifts her hand up to touch it but stops short looking at him as if to ask permission*

Craiger watches maya's hand as it approached the skulled out part of his face. He nodded slightly as she stopped and looked at him.

*touches it softly running her hand down the side of his face with green eyes and a really sad look on her face*
Who...... Who would do such a thing......?

Craiger gave a small sad chuckle "the gods" he muttered before going into further detail. " i was once a god created on this earth to keep balance between good and evil, i fell in love and then the gods that supervise this world gave me a choice: love or power. I chose love and my powers were stripped which left me with this scar.
Soon after the person who i sacrificed my powers for, left me for somebody else and now im alone in this world" he explained, his expression growing sadder and sadder with everyword, until eventually a sigle tear escaped each of his eyes.

The tear rolling from his right cheek however was dark red, much like blood and it came from the skulled out part of his face.

*Her eyes start tearing up and she wipes away the tears before they rolled down her face and wiped his away*

*Sits back at where she was at before she crawled over to him*

Craiger sighed before tying the bandage around his eye once more, carefully making sure that he covered the whole right side of his face, before standing up. "well i best get back to finding a place to sleep for the night" he began with a more cheery tone, as if trying to lighten the mood after his dismal perfomance " hopefully we'll meet again" he smiled before walking away.

*Os sighed as he floated down river on an earth chunk looking at the sky*

*she looked at the river and saw Os floating down it*
*she waved to Os and sighed*

*he doesnt even notice her waving, for he can not see her since he is looking at the sky*

*she sighed and moved closer to the water*
