The Fields

That mark, she is a hunter. Toby deduced as he looked at the girl. She seemed to be very sweet, but appearences could be decieving.

*Toby noticed the girl had begun to sing gently, Toby began to sing along with her gently.*

*eyes suddenly widen and looks at toby stopping and watches him curiously*

*stops a few feet away from the two of them and tilts all three heads, watching curiously*

*Toby continues to sing the song gently as he looks to the hunter once again. She seemed shocked that Toby recognised the song. As he finished, the tattoo released a dark wisp of energy, that was slowly carried on the breeze. Toby doubled back in pain, his neck feeling as if it had just been stabbed.*

Crap... Its never done this before... Toby thought to himself as a ring of fire surrounded him.

*sniffs air*
*looks at the dark energy and barks*

*quickly stands and walks over to his side fast* are you ok....?
*looks at the puppy and whistles patting side of leg*

*glances to shizuma and lopes over*

*Toby tried to respond but found his vocal cords paralyzed. The ring of fire subsided, but the pain continued to worsen, it was as if it were trying to throw him into a pity of despair and insanity.*

*Using all of his might, Toby bit into his finger, causing it to bleed, Toby then placed it onto the tattoo. The pain stopped instantly and the blood disappeared, as if the tattoo had consumed it.*

"Thats new...." Toby panted as he sat up.

*skids to a stop, looking at toby curiously*

*frowns and steps back patting leg calling the puppy over to my side, still looking at toby*

*suddenly cocks head to the side*
*shifts down to a single-headed black wolf pup and barks happily*
*tail swishes*
*runs off*

"Thats it, this thing needs to be sealed... looks like I'm going to have to use THAT again..." Toby said, cringing at the thought. Toby knew that amy form of sealing spell from his normal array of magicks would be nowhere near powerful enough, demonstrated by the need of blood in order to temporarily calm the tattoo. He was going to have to use extremely dark magic.

*crosses arm watching him* i have no idea what your talking about, mage

"Wouldn't expect you to." Toby said in response as he drew a circle of blood around him using the cut from his finger. Toby then began to draw markings in an intricate pattern around himself.

"Isis, giver of magic to us, the downtrodden. I beseech the. Remove from this world the bearer of the blood!" Toby incanted as he placed a drop of blood onto the tattoo on his neck. The circle of blood lit on fire and the patter inside began to glow a crimson red. A gust of wind emenated out from the circle blast everything backwards. a piercing scream could be heard in the night until everything went silent.

*moves back with the wind and keeps feet planted tightly into the ground*

*Toby looks around to see the hunter is still okay. Sighing in relief, Toby walked over to the girl.*

"Id it still there?" Toby asked, unable to see that the tattoo had not disappeared.

*nods slowly, placing a finger on it and asks astounded* what is that?

"Something that appeared after reading a book from the necropolis..." Toby said, unsure as to whether he had really sealed the black wisp of energy.

*frowns* I've heard some complaints about that place......maybe i should go check it out.....

"I'd stay well away if I were you, the best thing to do with that place is burn it to the ground..." Toby said seriously as he noticed that the pain from the tattoo had completely vanished.

The seal did the trick, lets just hope there aren't side effects for using the spell...

*shakes head, the pentagram earring swaying* i have to do my job.

"Okay, just don't go alone. Take at least three people when you go. I would also not touch anything, i got this thing from reading a book, who knows what other horrors lie in that place..." Toby said, beginning to actually fear the place.

*laughs* i dont follow my fear.

"That will get you killed. You know how they say all phobias are irrational? thats bull. Fear of snakes, spiders, creepy crawlies and the dark are all rational. The fear of them ensured the survival of our species. Trust me, do not go alone." Toby said, as he began to walk away.

"I hope to see you again, alive and well..." Toby said, not looking back.

*calls after him* WAIT! i never got your name!
