The Waterfall

*He growls*
Fine.
*He steps onto the ice, looking around*

Do not growl at me after you have stabbed me with a syringe.

*snarls and kneels down snatching up Tenkei from the snow, turning head away*

*He sighs*
Do you prefer agony?
*He slams his foot down on the ice, causing himself to fall through*

*straightens back up and runs over, stepping on a broken slab of ice, looking down into the water*

*clenches teeth and leans over, squinting to get a better look*

Imbecile. Stomping on ice... honestly, what was that for...? Daryan, come on.

*He stays at the bottom, glancing around while holding his breath*
Damn....
*He tries swimming up, but notices his foot is stuck*
Damn!
*He pulls his foot out, grimmacing, but floating back up, coughing up water*

*inhales for a moment and leans over the slab of ice, pulling Daryan up*

*exhales and reappears with Daryan on the snow covered ground, sitting him up*

Look at what happened for being careless.

*digs through the snow with hands and a strong fire immediately starts*

*He closes his eyes, coughing again*
*He looks at his ankle*
Hmm...
*He takes out a syringe filled with a blue liquid*
*He injects it into his own system, cringing in pain*

*glances to the syringe then to Daryan*

What is that?

*takes off scarf and hands it to him, moving gaze back to his ankle*

*He raises his hand*
I'm fine...
*He glances at the empty syringe*
It's for an injury I suffered. My foot was stuck, and I got it out. But the bone was pulled out of place. That was to help it.

*holds the scarf out*

You need dry clothes. The dorms opened up so come on.

*stands up and walks over beside Daryan, kneeling down*

Come on, I will walk you.

*He sighs, standing up*
Very well.

*tosses the scarf up on his head and the fire dims then vanishes, the smoke rising up*

*walks slowly alongside Daryan, placing hands in pockets and glancing to his ankle every so often*

*He walks away normally, showing no discomfort*

*As Kilala closes her eyes the winter winds hit her back. THe last of the leaves fall, and the ground is covered. Kilala smiles and puts her hands in her pockets while feeling a small chill.*
I wish i wasnt always alone.
*Kilala sighed and started humming to herself*

*sits by the waterfall, her feet nearly touching the water*
*smiles*
What a lovely day... I think I'll read for a little bit...
*pulls out a book and starts to read, only to get bored after a few pages*
*sighs and jams the book in her schoolbag*
That, again, was BORING! Just like every other piece of crappy nonfiction there is...
*sighs*

*Walks in and views the waterfall*
Its actually flowing today, its not frozen over like last time...
*Sees a girl in the distance reading then put her book away and say something*
*Walks up to her*
Ah yes, you're Mayas friend right? Hakura was it? So, what was that book?

*looks up*
Huh? Oh, hello Zetta-sama...
*smiles*
Oh, it was a boring book on the history of Greece...
*sighs*
I can tell ya somethin', those Spartans were nuts! They trained their boys from age 7 to be soldiers! And they had to eat in "the barracks" until they were 60! Good lord!
*laughs to herself*
Of course, a semi-scholar such as myself would never be able to understand this... Simply because we weren't there...
*laughs again*

Actually I love ancient Greece and Rome for that matter. History isnt my strong suits but, I just love learning about those two.
*Slides his hands into his pocket and looks up at the water fall*
Well, training them from a young age so they arent afraid of battles. Since war was really common back then. So I guess it could be kind of hard to understand now a days, since war isnt as common.
*Looks down at her confused*
But it looked like you put the book away in a hurry, do you not like history?

*sighs*
I get bored... Very easily... I have nothing against history. I just don't like non-fiction writing very much... I prefer the mythology involving the gods... It's funny how a contemporary monotheist (beliver in one god) can be so intrigued by the ancient polythiests...
*shakes her head*

I'm good, thanks for asking. By the way, I have class too... My teacher is a nut, weirdo and well... just plain strange... He locked himself out of the classroom...

And I nearly fell alseep at one point... Thank god our teacher's nice... Then he told us to find class 2A... but they weren't there so... we gave up and he made us sing...

*Eyes widen*

2A? Thats my class, we were in the Gym running around. Thats probably why you couldnt find us. But atleast your teacher is nice, mine is teaching for the sole purpose of torturing his students.

I think so... Either that, or he was surprised to see us in the classroom so early... I don't really know...

I guess I can unserstand the students, considering I was tortured before I came here because it was all the human and hunter's way of saying: "We're bored, so we'll beat the crap of you for no reason at all..."

Yea he told me yesterday in detention. Hes pretty mean but, I can kind of see where hes coming from. Though I still hate him...

It's a long story... Basically, where I come from, any non hunter/human is basically treated like shit... It was just the way it was... The kids who weren't in that minority learned to deal with the phyiscal and emotional harassment... All of this was perfectly legal... And when I came here... I was so surprised that I could make friends with everyone... Without being judged because of my halfbreed status...
*sighs again*
