The Ice Caves

*turns head a bit and looks at him from the corner of my eyes*

*continues walking through the tunnel, with him following behind me*
*the fire from my hands burning frozen cob webs*

The wall drip and soot forms on the ceiling only to drop into Noah's moist hair, Noah smiled and spoke although t he was becoming irritated with the dirty water ruining his makeup and his hair, "Why would you decide to get lost with a total stranger anyway?" ,His tone light airy

*shrugs*
i dunno...its just something different to do
*stops*

Still following still smiling, "What a dangerous way to live," he stops to drain his hair " we are young and we should live for each moment."

*turns and looks at him*
wow...you're kinda weird...but you're cool
*slightly smiles then continues to walk*

Her words didn't fall on deaf ears it was nice to find she knew where he was coming from about youth and how life short and how they should just live it, " cool huh " he thought but he said something about what he noticed, the winds didn't feel so chilled and the walls of the cave was losing it ice shield, "I think we might stumble into the den of some creature if we go this path."

*stops and looks at the walls*
hmm...wanna stop? or keep going? ill go for either

He blinked and smiled, " We should go full bore, he spoke with enthusiasm " I mean it not like we can't handle anything in here if there is anything in here" he takes off his coat and completely unsheathes his blade and placed it over his shoulder then put his coat back on he was sure she could handle all.

*goes back to walking, reaching one hand behind me holding onto one of my ringed daggers on the back of my pants*

He walls in front of her and he placed his ear too the cave's wall like he was doing something he placed the blade on his hip "I'll go first" it came out with ease but he didn't want to he wanted her to lead, but speaking up in a way meant he had to be a man now, He walked harder than normal with his foot falls becoming louder as the ground became stone from gravel and echo all the way back if there was something there it would hear them coming and have time to prepare,

Noah paused and placed his hand signaling for his companion to stop He felt the cave breath and felt a rumble also heard a distant scream but is was faint on the edge of hearing, "Some thing is coming," he spoke in a whisper but his breath was being taken from him.

He still listing with he hand still outstretched the sound had like a rhythm or a heartbeat in the distance becoming more rapid with each passing moments, it was coming closer but the cave with the soot gathering about while they waited, with his best face of boldness he looked to her , "Do you want to find out what is coming?"

*walks further, cautiously, unhooking my ringed daggers from my belt loops on the back of my pants, the fire from my hands move onto the weapons, fire all over both weapons*

His face frowned and his body did a double take as she prepared for an assault "Oh bloody hell" he whispered as he gripped the hilt of his blade tightly and pointed it foreword, "Shatter" he spoke as the the blade broke into shards, his thought on how useless the ensnare form would be in such tight quarters.

The pounding grew like a plant deeper heaver streaking yelling as a wall of darkness littered with red eyes came at them like the tiny devil they were the had disturbed the slumber of the bats.

*eyes turn black at the sight of the bats and the fire on my weapons disappears, leaving us in complete darkness*

When the lights went out Noah Dropped to the floor as quickly as he could until the wave passed but it was a large wave of them, "Damned rats with wings!!!" he shouted as he lay prone on the ground keeping his eyes open.

*my hands catch on fire again, i blow the fire at the bats, the bats make their screaming noises as they start burning and fall to the ground*

*looks down at him*

He saw the light come on and it hurt his eyes but he still jumped up like he did so damage, He holds out the stub of his blade, "Return" the shards of the blade slowly return to the blade making it whole again, He dusted himself off, "I was avoiding conflict" He looks around And looks her in the eye "Deeper"

*looks at him, eyes change back to their usual golden color*

*walks into the big room that the bats were in, looks down at the ground where they lay, dead but still burning*

The bats sizzled like this morning's bacon with all of their hair seared off flooding the cave with the smell of chicken and burning hair, A potent smell from the tiny mammals and an unfortunate end they didn't have to die but they didn't have to be their wrong place wrong time for both parties it just the bats lost out Noah felt an urge of his youth as he walked over the charred remains of the fallen and a thought filled his head along with the smell of their small bodies, "I want to eat one." He thought as he scanned looking for one that wasn't all to burnt He picked on up without hesitation, dusted it off the hair and bit into it wing just below the shoulder it wasn't bad but it wasn't too good either it would be something an arsitocrat or a poor tribesmen would eat, smoky but not much else, "You should try one!!!" He shouted to his compainon.

*looks at him*

*picks one up, dusts it off as well, looks at it, then bites it head off*

He sat near her and followed suit it seemed like she knew how to eat a baroque bat. He opened his mouth wide and bit at the neck, His mouth was then flooded with warm blood with a coppery taste his mouth, He crunched on the soft skull of the small mammal with great ease but the shards caused slight slashes in his mouth, the brain was just as soft and warm as he thought it would be most animal brains were and the eyes gave a salty spurt when they decided to pop under the pressure of his jaws, He was glad to eat the head it wasn't that bad save a few hairs and cold spots.

*grins at him as i chew on the head of that bat that i bit off, then as i finished that, i tore off the wings and ate the rest of the body*

To a man of his standing to eat like that is a rareity people in his class would spend top dollar for a meal cooked like this, and for the organs to still be raw is a status smyblom he could eat like the best of them but he couldn't eat any more, He was feeling the semi raw brain acting on his stomach or was it the blood either way he couldn't eat any more, He gracefully declined althought the wings were the seconed best part save for the warm and soft brain, Noah then stood up as some of the blood dripped from the side of his mouth he didn't seem to care or he didn't notice

*walks to him, wipes the blood from the side of his mouth with my finger and licks the blood from my finger*

*starts walking around again, stepping on alot of the little bats, crushing their heads and little bodies*
