- Explanation & Limits of Gift:
This gift to Khael is considered more of a curse. The gift causes Khael to have extreme nightmares about the deaths of anyone he comes in contact with. He is cursed with the ability to see how a person will die before they die. He watches in detail as their body dissperses in to whatever fate it holds. The ability does not function until he becomes friends or otherwise approving status with an individual. The nightmares often force him away from others, increasing his need to be alone. The visions are a general idea of what could happen and are not certain. The closer Khael comes to someone, the greater the nightmares become.
Weapon: Sword of the Northern Winds
- Explanation of Weapon:
This weapon was crafted in anchient Japan. The unique Katana-like design was forged during the time when Samurai were dominant. The anchient blacksmiths took great pride in forging their weapons, this one is forged of folded steel. The metal of the blade sings beautifully when drawn and used. It was forged specifically for Khael, so along the side is etched in Japanese, "For he who walks in darkness and is a keeper of the light.". The weapon can withstand gunfire.

- Physical Looks: Khael is a simple individual in appearance. He has a kind face and skin complexion is normal for a sunny area, lightly tanned. His dark gray hair is often free, being naturally straight, it tends to have a mind of its' own. His eyes are brown with a tendancie to shift between variations in color and brightness. Changing as far as a greenish color or a hazel. His body structure is very fit, constant training has developed a strong muscular structure. He stands roughly 6'1" tall and weighs around 200lbs. His hands are often covered at the palms with bandages, this does not cover the entire hand, but roughly two or three inches on center. This is usually when he is out, he rarely rares them during school or otherwise public activities. He wears layered clothing, often everything on him has many logical reasons for existence. He gets his clothing custom, despite his passive nature, he is not naive. His top layer of clothing is simple. A blue male kimono made of very strong silk material. The material is waterproof and seems to withstand against light piercing. Two black straps come across his shoulders which appear to over his Kimono. There are easily undone buttons underneath the straps allowing him to easily remove the Kimono. However, the straps are part of his under support. Made of strong leather reinforced with a close-knit chain, the straps can be used to halt blades coming at moderate speed. The straps act as a secondary support for his sheath and weaponry belt as well. He wears a chain belt around the waist of the Kimono which is able to be used as a rope or tiedown, its' extremely durable structure can hold up to 300 lbs. He wears a black shirt underneath his Kimono which accompanies strong forearm bracers similiar in design to the shoulder straps. These forearm bracers are a multi-layered structure consisting of a black exterior leather followed by a close-knit chainmail, a metal plate structure, and an underlying later of cloth. These are designed to allow full movement of the wrist, elbow, and arm, effectively causing zero obstruction. He wears black pants that have a large amount of pockets, tho not visible. He is over-armed constantly, so the many pockets helps keep things organized. His boots are black with steel reinforcement on the tops. The bottoms of the shoes are custom designed to allow minimal sound from underneath them to escape. The intricate patern was formed to reduce any sound from traveling more than 10 feet in any direction. He has two sheaths on his back and one on his side. The two on his back would contain swords, the one on his side would contain a wooden sword. His sheaths are made of a reinforced metal and leather allowing them to block blades as a regular weapon would.

What is there beyond the night? There are times filled with anxiety
- General Attitude/Personality: Khael's personality is very complex and often contradicting. He tends to see things in logical ways without thought of the emotional conflict. He evaluates everything he sees, regardless of what it is, who it is, or where it is coming from. He scans everything for flaw, piecing apart everything and everyone he meets. He keeps his thoughts to himself, unless directly asked for his opinion. Often he wont express his true opinion, however will speak in a manner that states the awnser in an abnormal form avoiding the question, thus avoiding the act of sharing his opinion. He is very cruel in thought, and constantly developes ways to inflict mental or physical harm upon anyone who crosses his path, including his own friends.
Khael is constantly at thought, his mind always racing about something that happened, could happen, should happen, or will happen. He is unable to control the wild and uncontrollable being that is his own mind. Often restless, he has lower levels of insomnia from evaluating everything about the day, or what may happen the following day. Lacking true emotional concern, his thoughts are often how to win or defeat in any way, whether noticeable or not, anyone, everyone, and everything. He despises people who act supirior, however is hypocritical in that he feels anyone who cannot keep up with him in any one state is inferior. He expresses most of his feelings in the form of thoughts, as he lacks the ability to express true feelings. Due to this, any feeling he appears to express is considered a lie. His lower ability to reveal how he feels to anyone, or about something leaves him often alone.
Despite his thoughts, he is a very kind hearted person. He acts for others before he does himself. In his mind, even though the world is corrupt and will never function, the smaller acts of kindness create a chain reaction which does not end. In his thoughts, he has ruled out any reason for existing at this point except the preservation of idea. The idea that however unlikely, or nearly impossible it would be to help build a world where people care for eachother, regardless of relation to another is what most of his actions are based on. Although he has few emotions, he cannot break the sympathy he has for everyone around him. He gives to those who cannot provide for themselves, he helps those who cannot help themselves, and, although difficult, opens his heart to everyone around him.
Khael's relationships with people however are limited. He trusts no one, and instead evaluates percentages of action success. Often having to implement a lack of concern to permit things people are constantly doing that make absolutly no sense. His popular thoughts and feelings are, "If you can do nothing, than do nothing.", "When the last tear falls, would the first have been worth dropping?", "In the end, there will be peace, for if we continue on this path of chaos, we will have nothing more to wage our wars.", "When you are lost, follow the wind. When you sad, see to the skies. When you are dieng, forgive those who would not forgive you, and leave this world in peace.".
In combat, Khael is very passive. He does not act without provocation and is scarcely the first to strike. He has a very strong sense of control on both his actions and his anger. Very few people can irritate him, and those who are able, are those whom he has let get too close. He feels that nothing should ever make someone back down, fear is an emotion that breaks the mind and body simultaneously; In order to maintain ones compusure and ability to properly function, one cannot take in the existence of fear.
Khael's vampiric natures often change his personality as well. He keeps to himself and is afraid to get close to anyone. There are many reasons for that, which include his horrific nightmares and the possibility, though scarce, that he may act out of will. He feels that the freedom of will is an ultimate characteristic and to loose it would mean to lose control. As a vampire, he often cannot afford such risks. Since becoming a vampire he sees two sides to every story, more often then not, he takes the pessimistic side. Despite his inability to reveal many of these emotions or otherwise negative developements, Khael is a very courageous person. He stands against characteristics or situations that go against any moral or even any immoral reasonings. He is not afraid to stand in front of a freight train, should it be taking the wrong path.
- Goals: Khael has no goals. He quite litterally lives day to day as it comes at him. He is a planner when neccesary, a born tactician, unfortuntately planning is not something that occurs commonly. Most situations Khael is in require immediate attention and then solve themselves, those that don't are also solved. His only goal, if considered a goal, would be to to find a solution.
- Likes: Khael enjoys quiet and beautiful enviornments. He often spends time in the mountains watching the sunset, or on the beach doing the same. He would be considered a romantic, were it not for his isolationism. He enjoys the natural tranquility provided by nature. Many factors of the elements fall under this, such as a sun coming through the clouds on a cold day, warming certain spots to a perfect temperature. A light breeze blowing against him as he thinks.
Khael enjoys instrumental music. In particular, the natural music provided by wind and wind chimes. He feels that instrumental music creates pathways for the body to relieve itself of any problems at any time. Any situation requiring a peaceful enviornment would benefit from insturmentals or otherwise peaceful factors.
Khael enjoys light conversation, despite his isolationist personality. A light conversation with someone whom is moderately intellegent and doesn't speak every half a second is very welcome to him. He is willing to listen to anything they have to say so long as they do not require him to respond to everything. He will likely speak, otherwise they'd no longer.
- Dislikes: Khael dislikes loud and obnoxious people. They disrupt nearly everyone around them and lack the ability to settle down. This causes him to become frustrated when they don't realize when enough is enough. Many people fall under half of this catagory, either loud or obnoxious. They are tollerable to him, but when combined, create a very crude individual.
Khael dislikes people who act without cause or reason, who are disrepsectful because they think they can be. Too many people in the world act without being consciously aware of how others may feel about, Khael is one of them and recognzes he is a hypocrite. Unfortunately, he still presses against those who perform the same act. One man may light a fire, but two men may burn down a forest.
Khael loaths himself. This is a higher level of hatred, one he could not accomplish against anyone else. There are many reasons he would feel such ways against himself, many of these are buried within him, others may yet to be discovered. The one known characteristic, is self-loathing.
- Bad Habits: Khael often neglects his friends. He is very afraid of growing too close to a friend because many times it results in nightmares. This may impact his view on that person significantly and he would rather not go through the trouble. Thus, he keeps himself primarily unknown to everyone around and near him. Over time, he has found this is the only way to prevent or at least lessen the nightmares.
Khael commonly contradicts himself in speach. Due to there being many sides of a story, he is known to take both and all arguments for as well as against both. This may not seem as too bad of a habit, but when he is trying to prove a point, he often proves himself right and wrong at the same time. Ths can confuse someone and lead to a dropping of the subject.
- Fears: Khael fears he will become too close to someone. His friends are commonly pushed back to a certain degree. Standing on the line between aquiantances and real friends. He does this because there is too much of a chance for him to lose control of himself. For this, he maintaince his secluded areas.
Khael fears loss of control. He has spent a large portion of his life controlling his vampiric ways. He has spent a large portion maintaining minimal requirements for blood. Often times this leaves him with a thirst that rages more than others. If he loses control, it could create a chain reaction that negatively impacts his time spent maintaining strength in will power.
- Other: "Fear not my dear sorrow, for strength conquers weakness, and you will not poor crimson this day. By my thread, I have stood against myself. No longer do the tears of those weigh, who accompanying the eyes which were forced closed, no longer do they feel dismay."

History: Khael was born 1300 years ago on december 22 at 1:36AM. He was raised very well, his father was a swordsman for the local king and a respected, honorable man. Khael grew up the life of a soldier, learning the ways of the blade and how a real man acts. How to approach your enemies in combat, how you are supposed to treat those you have just conquered. Nobility, loyalty, honor, justice, all these things he learned from his father. Khael however, had tricks of his own. He was a natural tactician, every move he made, even as a child was significant to his sorroundings. He strategized how to get through nearly everything he chose. It was his gift, one that not every boy was given. He grew up quickly, when he was 17, he encountered a vampire who turned him. His life changed dramatically as strange abilities and consequences came of it. His vision of the world changed, everything he looked at seemed to decay. His family, his friends, everyone, everything. He ran from this, for over a century he learned ways of controlling his hunger and his nightmares. Moving from place to place, running from his past and what haunts him, Khael continued his life. Now, he searches for nothing, still waiting for a cause to continue his life. Having been through much, crusades, samurai wars, world wars, personal fueds, etc. he trusts only himself and his sword.
