PostSubject: Yagami, Iori   Yagami, Iori I_icon_minitimeTue Nov 03, 2009 10:07 pm

Name: Curse Surfacing
Technique: Gekido Form
Stamina Required: -15 Strength
HP Deduction: Doubles all physical damage until deactivated(-1Hp to self every time the user posts while this is in effect)
Description: By activating the ancient curse that was bestowed onto his clan long ago, Yagami becomes 2 times stronger and faster, allowing him great speed and strength for whatever duration he decides to commit to. The curse can be triggered only be triggered in a real fight, not a spar, or he has to be completely serious about fighting the person. Rage, of course, can also accidentally trigger this form. Once in this form, he has to calm down or let his anger pour out (beat things up) to allow shift back.
Advantages: Grants him more strength and speed, doubling the damage of all his other attacks.
Disadvantages: Slowly damages his body from the inside, and can actually lead to his death if the curse isnt deactivated in time. Once the curse is deactivated, he will be 2 times slower than his normal speed for 1-2 posts, depending on how long he was in the form to begin with. Deactivates when a Stamina Technique that deducts more than 6 HP Points is used.

Name: Fire Element
Technique: Heated Skin
Stamina Required: -11 Strength, -3 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -5 hp added to combined move (plus burn damage causes -2 hp per post [unless treated] for rest of battle)
Description: Yagami, using his element of fire, temporarily heats the inside of his body to 300 degrees farenheit, causing his skin to heat as well. He then can use one technique that would then cause its regular damage, plus damage from the heat (for example, if the combined move does -10 hp, he would do a total of -15 hp damage). After the move is performed successfully, the opponent will receive continuous damage from being burned and will continue until the fight is over, or until they treat the wound. If this move is used more than once in a battle, the continuous burn damage will not double, but will stay the same.
Advantages: Gives the user an added affect to a move. This can also be used to counter a hit by causing -5 damage from the person touching his body.
Disadvantages: This move will make Yagami overheated and he must wait a full post to do any other fire related attack, which would also mean that he cant do this technique two time in a row. Also, in order for this to work, he must be attacking with his body and for the counter version of this technique, the opponent must be attacking with their body, not a weapon, to be damaged by his heated skin.

Name: Muay Thai
Technique: Double Elbow Thrust
Stamina Required: -12 Strength, -9 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -10 Hp
Description: When fighting against an opponent in close range, Yagami turns his back to the opponent and builds tension in his legs while putting his arms out parallel to the ground, then thrust his elbows backwards toward his back with tremendous force to the persons back or rib cage area. This causes certain ailments to the opponent, depending on whats hit.
Advantages: When hit in the front(ribs), it causes fractures in the ribs. When hit in the back(spine), the person is disabled from all movement for one of there posts. This move shatters blocks due to immense thrusting speed.
Disadvantages: Is a slow move, and the set-up can be seen about 1 full second before it is performed. Once this move is used, it leaves him wide open for attack for one post, making dodging an impossiblity.

Name: Tae Kwon Do
Technique: Roundhouse Combo
Stamina Required: -9 Strength, -8 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -7 Hp
Description: Using his superb balance and powerful legs, Yagami balances himself on his left leg while lifting his right. He then barrages the enemy left side with several fierce and quick hits in specifically targeted places, starting from the bottom: The side of the knee, the hip, the side of the elbow, the shoulder, the side of the head, then works his way back down to the previous spots. This leaves their left side completely disabled from use for 1 of the users post, meaning the next time he attacks, the person will have to deal with him by only using their right side.
Advantages: Disables half of the persons body and causes damage to them as well. Cant be dodged if the combo begins.
Disadvantages: Can be blocked only if the person blocks the first attack in the combo. If the combo begins, the barrage will finish successfully. Also, though his balance is great, he can still be tripped from the single leg that he is standing on.

Name: Juijitsu
Technique: Arm Catch Counter to Submission
Stamina Required: -13 Strength, -10 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -5 Hp from knee, -2 for every of users post held in submission.
Description: When an opponent attacks Yagami with there fist, no matter if it has an element infused on or in it, he catches the arm over his shoulder and wraps his own arm around it, setting a hand on the persons back, and the pulls their face down to meet his knee. He then slings the leg over them and flips them over onto their back on the ground and holding their arm between his legs, putting them in an armbar and pushing their elbow in the opposite direction and holding it there, causing extreme amounts of pain. Here is an example so you know what you're dealing with.
Advantages: Stops an attack and puts the person into a submissive technique, causing damage until they can find some way to get out unless they tap out (give up).
Disadvantages: After knee to face, the person can seize the opportunity to escape while Yagami sets up for the armbar, but they would have to be rather quick about it. Also, for this to work, the person MUST punch him from the front.

Name: Fire Element
Technique: Hadouken
Stamina Required: -11 Strength, -5 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -7 HP
Description: When using this technique, Iori cups his
hands together behind his back and then thrusts it forward, exposing
his palms to the enemy. At that point, a large fireball, about 1 meter
in radius, comes out from his hands and shoots at the enemy at high
speeds. This move only causes instant damage of hit, and does not cause
burn damage. If being used while close to an enemy, it cannot be dodged
unless the person were to instantly move from its path (teleporting,
ect).
Advantages: Causes damage from afar, and is undodgeable when close.
Disadvantages: Most likely will not work on fire
users. Doesnt cause excessive burn damage as most fire-based attacks
do, and it can only be used 8 times in a battle.

Name: Fire Element
Technique: Spark Flare
Stamina Required: -11 Strength, -9 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -0 HP
Description: When Iori has 2 hands free, he can grab
the wrist of one of his arms and snap his fingers with the other,
producing an extremely bright and devastating spark that lights up an
entire area. This spark blinds a person for 3 posts and gives them a
severe headache, which causes disorientation as well.
Advantages: Blinds and disorients for 3 posts. This move cannot be dodged by simply "closing your eyes.
Disadvantages: Only works if its dark out. The person must be facing Iori, and both hands must be free in order to generate enough power for the spark. Of course, this doesnt work on blind opponents.

Name: Tae Kwon Do
Technique: Back Hook Kick
Stamina Required: -8 Strength, -3 Intelligence
HP Deduction: -3 HP if its the opponent the kick is hitting
Description: When Iori is being attacked from behind,
or from the sides, he flicks one of his legs up at an angle and hooks
it around, aiming at the person's abdomen. This avoids any physical
move that may be occurring from behind by hitting the opponent, or
object(s), out of the way. If it is a person, they are hit a distance
away, which allows Iori to re-face them. For objects, he kicks the
object in a direction to where it wouldnt hurt him or any of his
allies, though it can be used to forward thing back, or to, other
enemies.
Advantages: Stops an opponent from hitting him from
behind with a hit. Knocks them, or the object, away from him, stopping
any harm that may have come to him.
Disadvantages: Can ONLY be used if attacked from behind.
This is a counter type move, so it can only be used if the person
attacks me, or if Iori thinks he's in danger of being attacked.

Name: Muay Thai Fire Element
Technique: Heartburn Stab
Stamina Required: Godmodding. It shouldn't be undodgeable and unblockable "if performed from behind" because you'll always perform it from behind. The disadvantages don't balance out the effects of this technique for they are weak while the description and damages are strong. If the opponent continues to be injuried in each one of your posts whether technique or not as a side effect of this technique, then it's still considered godmodding. I also got the point of view from Sakurai, another admin, and she seems to have agreed to the facts provided.
HP Deduction: -25 Hp
Description: When Yagami feels threatened enough, he
will use this move, and is considered to be a very dangerous and "last
resort" technique. To do this move, Yagami approaches his opponent from
either the back or front. He then straightens all of his fingers to a point, then thrust them upward under the enemies ribs, piercing
through the skin effortlessly and stopping the tips of his fingers an
inch away from the opponents heart. Fire then shoots from the tips of
his fingers, flaming the persons heart and causing internal burn
damage. This move will also cause different stages of damage according
to the users post after the move is performed:
1st post: -2 burn damage.
2nd post: -4 burn damage.
3rd post: -5 burn damage.
Once the 3rd post is reached, the damage will continue to burn the
persons heart at a rate of -5 Hp per post (of the user). This move is
unblockable due to the amount of strength that goes into the thrust,
and undodgable if performed from behind.
Advantages: Causes alot of damage, plus continuing damage. Is unblockable and is undogable from behind.
Disadvantages: For this move to work, Yagami must be in a rea; fight, not spar, because this is considered a deadly attack and is sacred to his clan. Also, he must be really close to the opponent, and if it isnt done correctly, he could burn his own hand from backfire. After this move is performed successfully, Yagami becomes tired and cant use a technique on his next post.
