*looks at him and wipes the tears away*
i have a question

Craiger sighed before he turned his head slightly to the side "go ahead" he muttered simply "i will try to answer with the best of my ability.....its less than you deserve after what i have just done" he added as his top hat whisped from shadows onto his head. clearly he had his insane side under control.

would you ever do anything to get me to NOT cry?
*looks down at my hands then glances back up at him*

"thats is a hard question to answer" he muttered before thinking upon it for a few moments
"im not completely heartless as you may think and i have a apart of artix residing within me....i feel i have caused you a life time of pain in these past few moments and whether you choose to believe it or not is up to you but i regret it......" he paused for a few moments before giving his final answer "within reason......i would do anything" he muttered finnaly.

*sniffles and wipes away the tears again*

....sorry..i needed a hug

Craiger was startled by this....he had never recieved a hug from anybody before and he didnt know how to react. His cane whisped away into smoke as he gingerly returned the hug.
even though causing chaos and suffering was something he had to do as it was his duty in order for the world to be balanced.......leeloo could be an exception.

*lets go of him and my hands drop to my sides, i look up at him*

"your welcome" craiger muttered before holding his hand out in the air "i lied when i said that artix left no possesions behind" he stated as a flash of light appeared in his hand, once the light had died down a small cross necklace was hanging from his fingers "do you know what this is?" he asked

*looks at it*
uh...a..necklace?

"indeed this a necklace.....but it is also artix's most cherished possetion....his mother handed this to him before she died and he hasnt taken it off since, but when i checked his body it was strangely curled up in his right hand" he muttered handing it out to her and as it swung backwards and forewards the words "dont cry" could be seen etched onto the back.
"i think you should have it" Craiger added.

*looks at him*
w-why me?

"something tells me that after hearing this conversation.....he'd want you to have it" he muttered with a smile, and as he smiled he looked so much like artix it was remarkable. of course what craiger was refering to when he said "something tells me" was the small part of artix's soul inside of him which yelled out "give her a piece of my heart"

*sniffles but holds back the tears*

*sniffles again*

Craiger smiled as he walked around the back of leeloo and tied the necklace around her neck " artix will always be with you now" he muttered soothingly.

*looks at the necklace and smiles*
yeah...but then theres always you as well right?
*looks at him*

Craigers smile was replaced with a frown "no....after what i did to you i dont deserve to have somebody like you around to keep me company.....i deserve to be alone" he muttered but just then an old saying of artix's had crept into his mind, a saying that he had for so long detested.

*hugs him again*
no no....you dont deserve to be alone....

"nobody deserves to be alone" he quoted from artix himself and then he paused for a moment as he hugged leeloo "very well....i will always be here for you" he smiled.

*smiles*

"hehe im sorry about everything i said.....most of which were lies anyway" he muttered....who knew that the demon king could be warm hearted it must be artix's soul it has a bigger affect on him than he thought.

yeah...well...people lie all the time....i wanted to hurt you but i made that feeling go away...
*smiles up at him*

"its a good thing you did....for a second i though id have to run for it" he chuckled as if it were a joke....but he knew that it was true.

*frowns*
am i that creepy and ugly?

"no...of course not your not creepy and ugly at all.....but like most women your just scary when your mad" he muttered with a slight shiver
