The Walking Paths

Keller looked at him, "Possibly." she said, "Is there a problem with that?" Her stony gray gaze dared him to say there was, as did the playful smile that played across her cherry red lips.

Hito looked up at the branches of the tree, it had lost it's leafs already, and was now hybernating, waiting for spring to arrive, he moves his hand up, wrapping the silky white hair of his forehead around his finger, and pulled it away from his forehead..

-Maybe you were waiting for a boy?-

Keller laughed--- her light, musical laugh, "Never." she said, shaking her head, and her silky black hair.

Looks at her, his eyes searching her body once more, her dress and all, it seemed rather attractive..

-Well i can't see a reason why not, just must have plenty of boys asking you out?-

Keller rolled her eyes, as his own eyes ran over her body again, "Actually, no. And also... I would appreciate if you looked at my face, not my body." she said, tapping her foot slightly.

Hito looked up at the branches of the tree once again, breathing was reduced to a relaxed, quiet inhale and exhale..

-I was not looking at you like that-

Keller closed her eyes, "It does not matter what way you were looking at me, it made me feel uncomfortable." She shook her head, "Nevermind..."

Hito sighted, looking down at his feet, he looked up at keller's face with a nervous smile..

-Sorry for looking at you then.. I understand the umcomfortableness-

Keller's eyes fluttered back open. "It is fine." she said, looking at him from the corner of her eyes.

Looks up at her his smile kind of turns into a more casual one, like a real smile..

-What do you prefer more, winter or summer?-

Keller looked back at the path, smiling softly, "Winter, by far."

Hito looked at her, this time not her body, his vision flickered from her face to her hair, a smile widened on his face..

-Winter by me to. reminds me of my home country-

Keller's gaze stayed on the path, "Snow... fascinates me... Especially at night. Hito," she said, calling him by a nickname actually close to his name, instead of "Kid," ".. have you ever seen snow at night?"

Hito's vision spectated the beautifull snow which was laying on the ground, like a big white blanket..

-I love watching snow at night. it is the best-

(Have to go to bed now.. We can continue tommorrow)

Keller nodded, "It is..." she smiled, closing her eyes, once again.

('Kay. Buh-bye~)

-It's weird, snow is what i have all the bad memories hidden in, snow is what i have shared pain and suffering with, i've risen to be a worse person in the snow.. Yes snow is what i love the most.

Keller bent down, touching the snow with tender fingers, not saying anything, simply listening.

Hito looked down at his feet, his sporty shoes were thing laced, and did not keep any warmth at all, yet he didn't feel cold in the snow, in fact his feet felt the best..

-What do you love about the snow so much?-

Keller pulled back her fingers, "The beauty.... the calm... yet wild nature it has.... The hurt, the pain, the sadness, that you feel when you see it. And the happiness, love, and passion that enters you and almost shrouds the other negatives feeling..."

Hito looked at her, blinking twice, a wide smile was born on his face, in fact he had never felt such a smile before, Keller kind of understood his feelings for snow, not only that she shared the feelings, he felt comfortable for some reason, not like he would normally, but much more...

-That was said in such a good way, i could never have said it better myself-

A slight rise and fall of her shoulders, showed a shrug from Keller. "They are just words, they could never capture the beauty of anything..."

Hito faced down, with closed eye's and a hand rubbing his chin, he blushed slightly since what she said was right, however he quickly thought out a counter and explanation, which he immidiatly believed in fully..

-That is right, however in order to truly understand the beauty of a thing, i think you must be able to descripe it-

Keller stood up, stretching as she did, "Everyone has there own opinion. But to me, beauty is just as feelings, there is no way to fully describe them."

-Indeed.. I never said that you capture beauty fully when understanding it.. Beauty is best when looked upon, however understanding it is a nice thing as well-

Keller brought her hand up to her left shoulder, her fingers wrapping around the shoulder. "As I said, everyone has there own opinion." As soon as her words stopped, and silence ensued, she pushed her shoulder back quickly, popping it.
