*gets to the bone of the turkey leg and leaves it in my mouth*

*walks over to her and takes the bone from her mouth*
no choking.
*disposes of it*

*stay asleep*

*sits on the floor by her and pets her*

*groans in sleep*

*stares at her and whispers in her ear* you ok?

*ear twitches and i wake up, yawns*

*looks at her* you ok then?

*changes into my half form and plays with my ears*
yes im fine

*nods* ok
*leans on her and falls asleep*

Shizuka awoke to the moonlight shooting through the open window, the soft breeze getting caught in the curtains. She sits up and yawns, scratching her head and involuntarily reaching over to the bedside table to pick up the brown ribbons. She raised her hand to pick up her hair into it's normal twin tail, only to find that her hair was shorter. And darker. She stood up and dropped the ribbon to the ground, rushing over to the window and looking at the hanging mirror. "Mm-..."

*Iori walks up to the door and reads the plate on it*
Dorm #1...I believe she said this was where she stayed.
*he knocks on the door a few times*

Shizuka's almost almost stopped at the sudden sound of knuckles against wood. Her hand trembling, she gently swiped up the brown ribbon that had laid strewn on the floor and made her way silently to the door, kneeling down and looking under the space to see the person's feet. Her voice cracked the first time but she regained it after breathing in, terrified of who it might be. "Sakurai's... not in."

*Iori put his hands inhis pockets and leaned toward the door, not recognizing Shizuka's voice*
I was actually looking for Shizuka.
Is she in by chance?

"She... is..." she spoke in a soft, gentle coo tainted with anxiety. Her trembling hand reached the doorknob and unlocked it in a slow, fluid motion. Her feet pulled themselves away from the door as she breathed in and awaited the person she feared most would see her like this; Iori.

*Iori looked at the person standing in the doorway and smiled warmly, then bowed slightly*
Iori Yagami, pleasure to meet you.
*he had no idea the person he spoke to was Shizuka*

Shizuka's head bowed slightly to the introduction and she placed an arm around her stomach, feeling as if someone had punched her point blank in the gut. She forced a rather believable smile and nodded, straightening back up with a blank expression but her eyes closed and her mouth playing a smile. "Aether..." Her guilt had kicked in pretty quickly as she instinctively took a step back from Iori, feeling terrible for lying to him. But it felt as if he had a case of amnesia. He didn't know who she is. Just another girl. His girl, but he didn't know it. She averted eye contact, looking to the floor instead with sky blue irises, no longer teal.

*Iori stepped into the dorm from the hallway and looked at the girl, not takng his eyes off of her.*
Is something bothering you?

A quiet and gently, but familiar laugh slipped out as she shook her head and continued her little facade. "Not at all." Shizuka began to twiddle her fingers behind her back, the same way she always did when she was lying to someone familiar.

*His eye twitched*
Shizuka?
I'd remember that laugh anywhere...

Her face dropped it's smile and her eyes darkened only a decimal, but still enough to be noticeable. "Ah, no, my name is Aeth-" She hated it. She detested lying to him, enough that her mind and heart cut off her words before she did something to herself she'd regret. She didn't nod or shake her head, simply watch Iori with a seemingly blank face, fear and anxiety written all over her face in black ink.
