Rooftop/ City View

Beautiful.. There was enough in this world to quench any thirst, to satisfy any hunger, to dam any flood, to cool any heat. It was things like this that made the world exactly what it was. Despite the constant degrading and depreciating existence of all that was and will ever be, this was a wonderous place. The smallest of things able to conjure the largest of entities, the largest of enomolies. There was an over-abundance of chance, an over-abundance of paradise. Why? In this day, there is more evil than good. The excessive anti-charisma that each and every individual held was indeed a curse, a giant counter-weight to progression. The self absorbed individual that now commonly dominates society fails to realize the true potential of this land, what it is capable of when a shepherd steps up to herd the sheer awesome spirit. After all, that's all everything is. Energy, a build of chemicals, a reaction to specific proteins causing different structures to mold and come from nearly nothing. How then? How is nothing something? The awnser is simple, passion, beauty. The lands coliding with the elements is a beautiful sight, they strike eachother with the greatest of passion causing the spawn of all that is and ever will be.
Little things.. Things like the drawing the girl in front him just made are what developed this place. They are what make this land liveable despite all that is negative and pessimistic in the world. The counter weight to that which damns everyone and everything in the end. She creates what truly shines through the darkness, what truly conquers the plauge that is negative energy. There are few who recognize the existence of any of this, there are too few..
Khael smiled and looked at her, it was common for he too to get lost in his thoughts. In fact, it was a known habit of his. He looked at both of the girls, shifting his eyes back to the drawing, then to the one whom stepped cautiously off the ledge. He extended his hand if she needed it to get off the ledge, a light smile behind it.
"That's alright, I do the same very often.. You're picture.. It's beautiful.." he spoke softly, looking her in the eyes with sincerity.

Smiling shyling, Isabella took his hand and stepped back to the main rooftop, to safety. She loved to paint from high places, she could see more, but she was terrified of falling. At his compliment of her picture, she looked back down to her painting as it still moved, the magic keeping it living.
"Thank you," she said.
It seems people here love my paintings just as much as I'd always hoped...

Khael nodded as she grasped his hand and helped her down. She seemed very cautious, possibly over-cautious. It would be safe to assume she was afraid of heights. He smiled lightly and nodded his head in recognition of her thanks. A moments pause as his eyes absorbed his sorroundings before he looked back up at the picture. It was very strange, he'd not seen such unique characteristics in art before. It reminded him of the wind, a beautiful creation containing all the elements. It was mesmerizing, he had to force his eyes back to those standing in presence.
"So.. Forgive my intrusion here but.. You use some sort.. of.. Magic?.." he said in a light tone, preserving the tranquility of the night.

Isabella nodded, holding up her paintbrush.
"Yes. I'm a mage, as well as my paintbrush is enchanted," she said, smiling.

A mage?.. Very interesting indeed. Many days i've walked this earth, it is now that I encounter an artist of magic?.. This evening is definately enchanting..
He smiled looking at her paint brush. His eyes looking to hers. "I see.. A mage.. I've never actually met.. A mage.. Well.. Atleast not one that enjoyed art enough to use their magic in its' form.. Most mages are.. well uhm.. Mages?.." he said before laughing lightly.

Isabella giggled softly.
"Yes, most mages enjoy particular spells, and I do too, but I prefer to channel my magic into my art. I like showing people anything they could have missed: about their surroundings, their friends, themselves...Anything," she explained, smiling.

Khael nodded his head lightly after she spoke. It wasn't just her art that was unique, it was her being. That which was visible of her thus far was very intirguing. A mage who chose to show the world its' true colors?. It seemed as if his lack of goals was pathetically degrading. People like her are what gives this world hope. What being could combine beautiful with beauty to create an exotic feature of magic that is her own existence?.
Smiling lightly he hesitated, then spoke, "Im.. Sorry.. I didn't introduce myself, did I?.. I'm.. Khael.."

"That's alright. I forgot my manners as well," she said, bowing her head slightly. "My name is Isabella."

Issabella?.. I have.. I have met one as such.. The name reminds me of something far, yet close to me.. It is that I have forgotten her.. One whom I held once dear until I watched as she shed her last tear.. Now I walk amongst the shadows, fate brought me this night to memories past.. Why?.. If there is a plan, and it is written, then why do I walk in to paths least taken?..
Khael smiled and nodded as well. It had been long past since Issabella, many had taken her place and many before her had fallen. It was a long destiny, his path. He took every step he could, he strayed away from that which haunted him. It was unfortunate, everytime he came to forget.. Something.. Someone.. They crept upon his hidden soul and ripped apart his chest. It dug deep in to his mind, it pulled that which he holds and made him remember. Furious.. It made him angry.. Unfortunate.. He stood in the presence of those who did not know, he must remain in control.
"Well then.. Issabella?.. It is a pleasure to meet one such as yourself.." he smiled when he spoke. The way he spoke, it sounded as if he was complimenting her on perfection, as if speaking to an old friend lightly, gently, softly, and telling them they were more than perfect.

"Uhm, Thank you," she said, unable to say anything more.
She heard the tones in his voice suggesting more than he said, but truly didnt know how to reply. She hated that she was always saying "thank you" when she really couldn't think of anything else to say. Her sister, her friends, her boyfriend; they all found such wonderful ways to express their thanks, but she could say no more than two mere words.

And to they whom are but faking, it could be their words mistaking. By the name of sound so shallow, it breeds a voice of passion not hallow. Through the echos cast by spirit, by your eyes I am drawn near it..
Left to me was a letter on the desk. I stood, I stared, I observed the sealing crest. It was hers, not she I loved. It was the demon, her curses shoved. She could not contain her unknown fears, for by name, death drew near us. Was it me who truly caused, it was her, my tears the cost... I still don't understand.. She left hurried, I did not know why.. I see now though.. I remember.. It still weighs my heart.. Forgive me now, for I forget you again.. It is this day that I continue to look forward.. Your eyes, they look to me and shelter my being. Now, I let you look away, I let you rest.. I am the one who will now be seeing..

Khael's thoughts were constant, this name, this art, this face. It all reminded him strangely of an individual he once knew. He smiled to hide his true feelings at this moment. She thanked him, appearing hesitant. Lacking the few next words, he's done that more than a variety of times to more than a variety of people. It's alright, there was nothing more to be said. He looked her in the eyes and smiled true before speaking, "I uhm.. I just remembered something and.. I've gotta go.." he paused, taking in a deep breath and looking down. His thoughts continued, it pushed down on him. He continued to speak, "There was someone I had to meet.. She left im sure, but I.. Well.. I have to go.. It was nice meeting you.." he said, bowing his head lightly. He turned slowly around, moving towards the door.

"Oh, well, I hope you find her," Isabella called out to him cheerfully. "It was nice meeting you as well, Khael~"

Taking everything she held, careful not to forget anything in the snow on the rooftop, Isabella tightened her coat around her, shivering, and began to walk down the flight of stairs on the rooftop to go off to the dorms to see if she'd been assigned one yet..

*walks along the rooftop, feiero and falco flying close behind her*

Keller sat on the Roof's edge, her legs swinging back and forth, creating the only sound--- her skirt rustling. She had been there for awhile, simply staring at the darkened sky. The dark fascinated her. To what extent, she herself did not ever know. The same with why is what, exactly, why she loved the dark navy sky, darkness of it only pierced by the endlessly shining stars.

*scences someone, looks over to see the girl sitting there*

Keller took a moment to draw in the sky, implanting it into her memory, before she broke her eyes away. "Hello..." she said, "Keller, Rashel Cassia"

Keller smiled, just slightly, the smile, however not reaching her eyes, "Likewise." she said, "And... yes I am new..." Her usual joking persona was shadowed by lack of sleep, which was only proven by the slight bags under her eyes.

*looks at her*
do you have a place to rest yet?

Keller looked back at the sky, "Yes.... All of the outside, is where I sleep..." she said, shrugging.

Keller swung her legs back and forth, still, "A.... bed? Not... for the longest time.." she said, searching her mind, "Not... a true bed for at most...... ten years..."

Gin appears on the roof in a gust of wind, wearing her black cloak to keep her warm as well as trying to keep a low profile.
