The Waterfountain

*ears twitch and prick up at Alex's whistle*
*turns head to look at him with warm, chocolate brown eyes and slowly gets up, moving cautiously over*
*even though cautious, she walks close to him with less hesitation than a normal dog, sniffing his hand only once before beginning to lap at the drink*

*pours a little more water in his hand as it drinks*

*scratches the puppy behind the ears*

*leans into his touch, tail swishing back and forth*
