The Waterfountain

Slowly slowly Samantha made her way over to the waterfountain. She rubbed her right eye with the palm of her hand, yawning lightly, using the other hand to cover her mouth. Good morning brother...
It was a beautiful early morning, and she had spent another night without sleep. It had been a few hours since she first arrived at the Academy, and still she hadn't met a single person. She was begining to think people were avoiding her. Biting her bottom lip, she scanned the area with her eyes, hoping to see someone. Her hands twitch ever so slightly, due to the fear and anxiety of being alone. Please someone, come find me.

She shivered slightly, as a chilly breeze blew by. The stray, untied, pieces of the bandages wrapped around her wrist, flew gracefuly in the wind. She hugged herself, and sat herself down on the edge of the fountain, bringing her kneese up so she could hug them. Looking into the fountain she could see that the water had become frozen. She sighed lightly, staring at her reflection in the ice. Well, aslong as I have you...maybe I'm not completely alone...no? She sniffled, still staring at her reflection.

She was startled by the sudden appearance of the other girl. "H-hello" She said, speaking in her usual soft and barely audible voice. She turned to the girl, nodding her head as a simple greeting. How did she know my name? Did brother send her to me? She blinked, quite curious as to who this girl was. "What is your name?" She asked.

Antoine walks near the waterfountain, shy as ever. She picks out a violin from Musique and starts to play a melody, enchanting the area. The birds chirp and slowly, everything else is mesmerized by the music, the wonderful rhythm...

Samantha listened to the music, slowly her body became less tense and her fears and anxiety soon began to disappear. Closing her eyes, she listened to the beautiful music of the violin. Many happy memories flooded her mind, and for the first time in about three months, she smiled. It wasn't a big smile, just a small crooked one, none the less, it was still a smile.

Antoine watches as Samantha smiles and smiles as well. It was her goal to bring happiness to others through music. She could add one more person to her list. As she continued playing, Antoine created a scenery of a forest in England, a beautiful forest that lead like a pathway... and the autumn leaves dropping, surrounding her..

She watched as the scene appeared before her. Her eyes grew slightly wider, and her amazement grew. She had never seen such wonder. Her fox hears twitched, withe excitement, and she reached out her hand to catch a falling leaf. The smile was still placed upon her lips and her eyes gleamed with joy. This was the happiest she had ever been, since leaving home. She turned her gaze towards the girl, who was playing the violin, and nodded once as a sign of greeting and thanks. She wondered what the girls name was, and how she was able to do such wonderful things witht he music she played.

Antoine saw Samantha nod at her and smiled. Antoine nodded back, being polite and walked towards Samantha. "Did you like it?" Antoine said in a soft, warm voice, smiling. "I hope you did... it was one of my favorite memories..."

Daikki followed the beautiful sound and arrived at the Waterfountain, he noticed three girls together there, he smiled, Good Morning Ladies, he says, bowing.

She nodded, abcentmindedly bringing her hand to her collar. She leaned forward slightly, as if trying to bow. "Thank you for that. You make such beautiful music." She said, sitting up straight again. "I can see why that is one of your favorite memories. It's quite beautiful!" She said "If you do not mind me asking, how do you do that?"

"Oh... I'm a magician you see, so I can channel my magic through my music and create solid images of things that I have recorded into my magic. It's a powerful and brilliant ability really..." Antoine replies, bowing to Sam.

She nodded, very much interested in this ability. "Ah, I see" She said, speaking in her normal, soft quiet voice "That sounds so amazing. You are so very lucky to have an ability like that, miss".
Her eyes grew slightly wider, and she gasped lightly, remembering that she had not introduced herself yet. "Oh dear, I am so very sorry!" She said "I haven't yet, introduced myself!" She bowed once again "My name, is Samantha Leeanne Stone. It's a pleasure to meet you"

"Thank you for your compliments." Antoine said, smiling when Sam said that it was amazing. Antoine bowed in response, "Antoine Rene Mercier at your service, and your name is beautiful, and so are you." Antoine said, smiling at Sam.

She blushed ever so slightly, "Thank you, yours is beautiful aswell, and you are very beautiful too" She said, fidgeting with her fingers, a little. She was relieved that she had finaly met someone. She didn't enjoy being alone.

"Thank you for your kind compliments. Would you like some tea? I think there's a cafe quite near by." Antoine smiles and says. She slowly walks towards the town, where the shops are located.

She nodded "Tea would be delightful!" She said, slowly standing, her bare feet touching the cold ground. "Alright." Slowly she trailed behind Antoine, heading towards the cafe with her.

*walks over to the water fountain that has stopped for the year singing softly*

*Walks up to the other side of the water fountain, staring down at it.*

*Looks up, noticing you sing and smiles*

*looks up and eyes turn yellow*

o-o-oh hi im s-sorry i didnt know you were here.....

The winter breeze blew accross the water fountain, pressuring on Khael's chest. His Kimono lifted lightly, drifting behind him; His hair wavered backwards. It was snowing lightly, the moonlight glistened off the white blanket that came down. A beautiful night, the stars shown through the clouds. Khael had wandered around the city this evening, it would be wrong to stay in doors. There wasn't much to do when it was snowing, not everyone enjoyed the cold. He seemed to be one of the few that managed. After having walked down a few allyways he noticed the fountain. It makes sense for it to be turned off, if it was running it would be frozen and could ruin the beautiful scene. A cracked statue or wall often isn't a good way to promote a city. He had walked to it when he noticed a girl standing across the fountain singing. She looked at him, her eyes were yellow.
She seemed nervous looking at him, as if she had tresspassed on him. He smiled back, looking her in the eyes and tilted his head slightly down. After she spoke to him, he paused momentarily and responded, "Oh no.. No, it's alright. You were here first. I just walked up.. I should be appologizing for interupting your beautiful singing there.." he finished and raised a hand to the back of his neck, rubbing it lightly, nervously.

o-o-oh no its ok....... really..... it is
*eyes start going blue*

He looked across at her still, her eyes changed colors. It fascinated him, he'd never seen anything like that before. It made him smile, a truely unique person. After a moments hesitation he spoke, "You uhm.. Don't mind if I sit here and listen do you?.. I wont be a bother.." he finished, sitting on the ledge of the water fountain, looking at her with a smile.

*blushes*
l-listen to me? sing? im not that good......
*she thought how many times people told her she was good there was too many to count*

Khael laughed lightly and looked at her. She knew she was good, she just didn't want to show it. No one could sing in public with that beautiful of a voice and ignore how wonderfull they sounded. He looked her in the eyes and spoke, "Well.. I suppose it is a matter of opinion then.. You sound wonderfull to me.." finishing, he walked closer to her, sitting on the fountain about 4 feet away from her.
