The Waterfountain

Kestrel reached out, towards Lulu, then brought her hand back. Instead, she asked, "May I pet her?"

*smiles*
Of course!

Kestrel, again, reached out, petting Lulu, cautiously, and slowly.

*smiles*
*rubs head agianst her hand*
She loves to be petted.

Kestrel smiled, her first true smile, in years. Though the smile did not quite reach her eyes, it lit up her face.

*smiles*
*makes a deep sound in the back of her throat like a purr*

Kestrel continued to pet Lulu, still smiling the same smile.

*pets Lulu too*

Kestrel pulled away, after awhile. "That was.. fun.." she said, oddly.

*laughs*
Yeah.
*pets Lulu on the head*

Kestrel walked over, wading through the water, to Kyoukou, her giant axe. Bending down, she picked him up.

*looks at the axe*
That's an interesting weapon. Does he have any powers?

Kestrel shook her head, "No.. not that I am aware of... I have had him.. for many years.. but... there are so many things.. I still do not know.." she said.

*nods*
I see.

Kestrel sat beside her, on the edge, "Do you.. have a weapon..?" she asked, trying to start conversation.

*shakes my head*
No. I'm not much of a fighter unless I have to be. But I do have elemental powers.

Kestrel nodded, understanding, then she spoke, revealing feelings she held in, "I... do not like.. fighting much either... But.. that is how I was raised... Treat everyone as an enemy, do not get close, and if they.. happen to invade... Kill them... or.. be killed..." she said, her eyes going distant.

That must have been tough. I am glad that I wasn't raised that way. I do like to use my water powers though, but not to harm anyone.

Kestrel looked up, at the dark sky, sighing.

*pets Lulu who has fallen asleep in her lap*

Kestrel stayed silent, not sure what was to happen.

It's getting late and I'm tired.
*looks at Lulu*
And so is she.
*picks up Lulu and stands up*
It was nice to meet you. I hope to talk to you agian soon. Bye.
*walks away*

Kestrel nodded, "Goodbye." she said, simply. "Where am I going to sleep tonight..?" she asked herself. She got up, wondering off.

*walks up to the foutain and sit on the edge*
I'm so bored...there's no one to talk to...

*sighs*
*turns myself so I'm facing the water*
*controls the water making it swirl and move*
