Abandoned Railroad/ Train Graveyard

*nods, then turns toward the direction of the amusement park*
Shall we go?

"Yes, Master." she said, quickly following after him.

*walks off with Pie*

Pie walked off, closely following behind her new Master.

Crazily stumbles into the "Graveyard" hitting a overturned train painfully, with her shoulder. "Damn.. Dammit.." she said, tears starting to stream down her face. "He.. He is dead.. How.. how.. why... how could this happen..." she mumbled, falling to her knees. "Master... why did you leave me...?" She touched the collar around her neck, then collapsed sideways against the train, feeling a jab in her shoulder.

*Yagami hops down from a dimly lit train, walking over to the girl and kneeling*
another...crying girl...
What is wrong, little one?

Pie shook, shrinking away from the stranger, "Please.. Plea-Please just go.." she said, her voice sounding innocent and polite, though it was suppose to sound commanding. Her mind was telling her that crying was weakness, especially in front of others, but her heart did not care, it was relieving its pain by the tear still falling down her cheeks.

maybe...i should try the same thing with this girl...
*Yagami reluctantly embraced her, lightly, and rubbed her back*
I may not know you, but i wont leave a crying girl behind to suffer alone.
You deserve better than that, and i intend on giving you what you deserve.

Pie did not even tense at his embrace. Her always-trusting persona made her immediately hug back, and press her face into his shoulder. She started to speak, her words coming out muffled, "I am so sorry... so s-sorry.. I do not mean.. do not mean to break down.... So sorry.." Again and again, she repeated the words, 'So sorry.' Both her ears flattened themselves, so the were almost invisible in her hair, as her tail drooped miserably.

*he rubbed one hand onher back as the other went to the top of her head to pet her ears*
May i ask what is wrong, little one?
Ill formally introduce myself once she calms down.

More tears streamed down Pie's face, as she remembered, again, what happened, "My.. My master left me...He is.. He is gone.." she said, her voice thick.

Master..? An owner?
*seeing she didnt refuse his embrace, Yagami hugged her tighter and set her in his lap*
Your master...you loved him, didnt you?

Pie nodded, "I di-did..." she said, her voice still muffled.

*Yagami did not exactly understand the concept of love, but thought that showing her some form of it would help, so he kissed her forehead and somewhat cradled her*

Pie pulled away, completely overwhelmed with grief. It may seem unreasonable to some, but without someone to guide her, she was lost. Floating endlessly with no purpose, empty. And as of now, that emptiness showed in her pale cucumber colored eyes. "How.. How could you promise something like that? Nothing.. Nothing will be alright." she said, and turned away. Swiftly, she brought out a small bottle, that by appearance, seemed to be a pill bottle. Flipping the cap off, she shook a few into her hand. "Only.. only these will help..." she said, "They.. they helped earlier.." With that, her hand flew to her mouth, as she swallowed the pills.

*yagami raised a brow slightly at her taking the pills, then tried to come up with some sort of solution to help the poor girl out*
If...well, if she is upset over her master being lost, then...maybe she might want a new one.

*he tapped her on the shoulder*
What are those pills?
And...i never got your name.

Pie looked down at the bottle of pills, "They.. they take away pain..." she said, then turned towards him, "My... My name is Pie."

*Yagami smiled, looking at her with trusting eyes, hoping she would do the same*
I am Iori Yagami, Hunter.
But dont worry, im not a violent one.

Pie bowed, "It... it is a pleasure.." she said. Straightening, from the bow, the looked at him momentarily, before her pale cucumber eyes returned to the ground in front of her. She brought a hand up, and gently started to wipe away the tears.

*Yagami reaches a hand up to her face and wiped her tears away with his thumb*
Are you fine now?

With a slight nod, Pie leaned against the overturned train, and slide down. She looked up at him, her eyes red and her cheeks blotchy from the crying, "I.. think.." she said.

*Yagami scoot up to her, his knees at her feet*
Pie, i dont know you very well, and you dont know me very well, but i can assure you i am a very gentle being.
*he nodded twice*
If it would make you feel better, i would like to take the title of your "Master".
I think we could both benefit from it.
Maybe i could learn to care for someone for once.

"I need... someone to lead me.. I am lost without someone......to.. guide me. But... what if... I could not handle it.... If you.... left..." she said, reaching up and grasping her collar.

*Yagami glared, then grabbed her collar as well, pulling her close to him*
Dont even think that way.
I wont be dying anytime soon...trust me.

Pie grabbed his arm, as she was pulled closer to him, feeling slightly unsteady. Her eyes shined, her decision already becoming made, "But... but are you sure you are ready?" she asked, "I am... a pet... My oldest.. Master said I was a nuisance, and was only kept alive because he had yet.. found someone else..."
