Kestrel became confused, at the odd request, but stood anyway, "I suppose... as long.. as you do not try to.. take my head off again.." she said, walking towards him, cautiously.

Kestrel nodded, acknowledging his thanks. She sat down, beside him, about a foot away, crossing her legs, right after sitting down.

Kestrel shook her head, sitting up straight, as she usually did, her hands in her lap, "No.. it is fine.." she said, staring out across the abandoned railroad.

Kestrel shook her head, "No... it cannot..be... that.." Her voice was soft, her eyes showing vulnerability. She hated the situation, hated being so vulnerable, not able to fight back, it made her feel weak, useless to everything.
