| Name: Empowerment (Ability) Technique: Speed of the Wolf Stamina Required: -14 Intelligence HP Deduction: -0 Description: Speed of the Wolf is a sub section to Slyven's 'Empowerment' ability. Rather than increasing every single trait by a small amount, he can instead increase only his speed by even more, but for even less time (About 2 posts rather than 4). When he does this, he becomes faster in movement to the point where he can dodge from others at his level, however its predictable that even with this speed bost, some form of attack from a senior would still hit anyway. Advantages: Slyven becomes even faster than before, allowing him to dodge some attacks at his own level, being able to confuse, attack, and dispatch enemies quickly. Disadvantages: This boost doesnt last as long as the generic increase of his abilities, and causes him to move at a crawl for about a post after it disengages. Can only be used in wolf form. Lasts 2 posts
Name: Wind/Air (Element) Technique: Propel Stamina Required: -7 Strength, -4 Intelligence HP Deduction: -5 HP on a swing of an individual body part Description: Propel is a technique Slyven uses by utilizing his wind element affinity. He will call forth a gust of wind to fly fourth in any direction, and in any size up to that of his body. Using this, he can use a gust of wind to launch himself high into the air, dash forward a long distance, or hit the deck quickly. The gust cannot get bigger than his body, so he cannot use it as a giant gale of wind to push the enemy back from afar, but can push them back if their smaller than him, and up close. He can also use a smaller gust of wind to push against singular body parts, so that he may swing an arm faster and harder, so that it does more damage on contact. Advantages: Slyven can use propel to catapult himself as a whole in any direction desired, to swing an individual body part faster in any direction, or to push back an enemy if they’re in a close proximity to him. Disadvantages: Using this comes at a risk. With poor judgement, Slyven could launch himself so high into the air, that landing would hurt him, or launch himself forward into a tree or some other kind of barrier. Just as well, using this on a single body part comes with the risk that if hes not precise, he could twist or even break that body part.
Name: Wind/Air (Element) Technique: Spearhand Thrust Stamina Required: -9 Strength HP Deduction: -4 HP Description: Spearhand Thrust is a technique utilized with the wind/air element on the control of Slyven. He will first focus a body of wind the exact size of his hand around his hand, and then thrust his hand forward in a punch, or open hand finger thrust. The air will shoot forward and take the exact same shape of his hand, and fly through the air towards the direction his fist went. It can hit with blunt or sharp force depending on the shape of his hand. If his fingers are extended, the wind will be able to pierce because of the sharp point of his nails, and if its a close fist, the wind will simply smash into the enemy. Since this ability has only just recently been learned, the wind will disappear after contact, and not follow through, however it still remains long enough to do some damage nonetheless. The purpose of this ability is to hit an enemy from afar, throw projectiles to keep an enemy moving and guessing, or to add a little extra power whenever he makes a direct hit, as he is allowed to expel this wind if he hits a person. Advantages: Grants the ability for Slyven to hit an enemy from afar, and keep his distance if wanted during a fight. Adds a little extra power to an attack at striking range. The wind is almost invisible, as it is of course just wind, however with some close observation it can be distinguished. Does moderate/average damage. Disadvantages: The wind doesn’t move so fast that its completely unavoidable, and can in the end be nothing more than a simple waste of energy unless its used correctly and with skill. Its a new skill, so Slyven hasn’t completely mastered yet, and is therefore not at its full potential as an attack. | |
