| Hokkaido AcademyLet's go with Easy Go! To the unseen world...Student Application{{• The PrinciplesI can hear your voice that's slipping into the crowdFirst Name: Cyrille Middle Name: Akira Last Name: Hoshikuzu Nickname(s): Cy-chan Age: 16 Birthday: December 24rd Race: Mage Element: Ice {{• The ProficiencyI'm searching for the the map of the future in the center of the intersectionSpecial Ability: Phasing - Explanation & Limits of Gift:
For Cyrille, she was born with the very rare ability of intangibility. This allows her to phase, or walk through any type of solid matter without harm. She can focus her phasing so just her arm becomes intangible. When Cyrille phases, her body appears identical as if it was not in use except for the only physical trait different is that her eyes dilate in while phasing completely or partially. Weapon: No weapon {{• The PresenceI believed in dreams always coming true on the other side of the sky!Physical Looks: Cyrille stands at a healthy height of five feet seven inches. Her complexion is a flawless and silky-soft radiant glow. Her eyes blend well with her skin color, as they are a noticeable blue. They tend to darken or lighten shades, depending on the feeling of the moment. They range from a dark ocean blue to a clear sky blue. The main shade is a soft light cyan. Her naturally wavy blond hair reaches past her lower back, short bangs cutting off at her eyebrows. Her body shape is well toned and curvy enough to be feminine, her chest being slightly flat. Her hair color gives off a golden wheat color. She wears very little to no makeup, not needing any. She only wears it for special occasions, though. Most of the time, she keeps the upper half of her hair tied back with a somewhat large, black ribbon, her bangs still staying neatly put. Her eyebrows are arched two inches towards the end, a slightly darker shade than her hair. Her nose is petite, fitting well with her nicely proportioned face. {{• The PersonaWhat is there beyond the night? There are times filled with anxietyGeneral Attitude/Personality: Cyrille is a happy girl with a not-so-happy past. Regardless, she doesn't let this screw with her present and future self. She is actually a very social person, once you get to meet her and vice-versa, that is. She is what many people familiar with the Japanese language would call a tsundere. That is basically someone who is supposedly cold and heartless and rough on the outside, but warm, loving, and gentle on the inside. When Cyrille is near crowded areas, she becomes abnormally ill. Getting a fever, becoming lightheaded and even in worse-case-scenario, passing out. The cause is unknown, but these actions will happen whether she is comfortable with the people surrounding her or not. Ironically enough, she feels more at peace when near strangers as she has the mental idea of someone is also judging her. No one wants their friends to judge them, so she thinks if someone's going to judge her, it should be someone she may never see again. Regardless of this, once someone becomes close enough to Cyrille, she is a loyal friend who will be glad to be there for that friend and help them in that time of need, may it be giving a girl advice or cheering a boy up by bringing him chocolates, which she finds to be completely funny. To anger Cyrille is like filling a glass slowly with water. Every time something bad or irritating happens, she'll shrug it off outwardly but inwardly, it will be a drop in a glass. When that glass spills over, anyone near, friend or foe, will see a side of her they never expected. Goals: None. Likes: Butterflies, mammals, Christmas, clouds, cooking, cold-hearted people. Dislikes: Strangers, crowded areas, reptiles, haughty people, fingernail biters, girls who flirt constantly with any male, and anyone who lets alcohol control them. Bad Habits: She is rarely seen sleeping, she tends to press the tip of her tongue against her upper canines, and she is dangerously clumsy, even tripping over air. Fears: Gaining other fears and howling winds. Other: Cyrille's surname is not her 'true' name. She adopted her mother's maiden name and rid of her father's surname. (See past.) {{• The PastEven if it's impossible, if we don't do anything, it will stay zeroParents: *Shinbayashi Kazuma. Father, living (Location: Tokyo, Japan). *Iilyia Hoshikuzu. Mother, currently in a coma (Location: Osaka, Japan). Siblings: Two older brothers; Len Kazuma & Takuto Kazuma. (Location[s]: Unknown). History: - Spoiler:
Cyrille was born as the third child to Iilyia and Kazuma Shinbayashi on the 3rd of November . The day was cold and rainy but that didn't reflect the personality Cyrille was born with. Cyrille was the third child, born a little less than one year after the second son, Takuto was born. And one year before Takuto's birth, the oldest brother came to this world, Len. Len was the smart one, grades always top-notch, the president of everything. Basically a perfectionist. Takuto was the jock, one would say. Being able to grasp the concept of any sport and putting it to motion less than a day after. And regardless of the sport, whether it be speed, strength, or endurance type, he was always number one. Of course, parents who have such successful children would be proud. They expected nothing less than their final child. With the pressure put on Cyrille before she was even born, when she was born, the weight only got heavier. Iilyia and Kazuma both spent their money on voice lessons, piano lessons, ballet, even modeling. Anything that would jump-start that natural hidden talent.
When Cyrille turned eleven, her father, Kazuma, lost hope and stopped coming to her rehearsals, stopping remembering to pick her up, almost as if she had died in his eyes. Of course, this would throw off any child who was never treated like this. Pampered, always pampered. That's how she was raised, in a shelter. Once her father stopped acknowledging her, she began deteriorating, like a flower with sunlight, water, and soil, but no love. It just seemed completely different. One day, Iilyia had forced Kazuma to take Cyrille to the park to play with her to raise her withering spirit. While her mother was out of town with both sons, returning the next day in the morning, Kazuma explained to Cyrille to stay here while he went to go make a phone call. It had turned out her own father had abandoned her at the park the rest of the day, following through the night, simply to go drinking with his friends. Not knowing this and wanting to make her father proud and show how obedient she was, Cyrille stay out. For hours. Not eating or drinking, just swinging on the swings and sliding down the slides, Cyrille stayed in the park.
Cyrille, now half awake, looking up to see the sun beginning to rise, dawn breaking out soon. Two strangers, wearing baggy clothing and clearly drunk casually walked up and began pestering her on why she was alone. Cyrille, completely aware of the situation, stood up and walked away from them to another plaything, ignoring. Wrong move. One of the men stood up and stabbed his elbow into the back of her rib, forcing her down. Once she was on the floor, the same man lifted her by her hair and began hitting, cutting, slapping, punching all over. The other man, aware of someone coming told his friend to leave so the man dropped Cyrille to the floor, now bleeding and possibly bruised with sure fractures and some broken bones, laid on the floor, not crying or moving. The people that were nearing walked up to the playground laughing and carrying luggage with them noticed Cyrille's shattered body on the ground. The trio's face all fell into such dismay at once, it looked rehearsed. Her mother and two brothers watched in horror, still trying to mentally deny that the girl, broken on the floor was really their sister and daughter.
After gaining consciousness, Cyrille awoke to a white room with a beeping sound on repeat. Annoying. She leaned up and rubbed her head, noticing a thin tube attached to the top of her hand, then another in her vein parallel to her elbow. The same was for her other arm and she looked around, trying to recall why she was in here. All she could recall was her father telling her to stay then it getting dark and her still alone and obedient. Two voices gasped then two bodies threw themselves, smothering Cyrille as she winced in pain, not screaming, but simply tearing up. Both her brother had hugged her, completely overjoyed to see her awake, tears falling from their eyes too. As they pulled away, too happy for words, Cyrille recalled the complete incident. Her father leaving and never returning, getting beaten up badly by two drunks and then falling asleep. After a long moment of speaking and the brothers finally finding out what really happened, it was a surprise to see their faces turn so serious to quickly. But something was off. That was it. Their appearances. They looked older. Cyrille asked them why they looked so different and their eyes seemed to fog over, tensing up at the explanation they would have to give.
After hours of explaining by taking turns, it turned out that she had been in a coma for four years, her mother had been so depressed and unable to cope with this happening, she herself fell into such trauma, now currently in a coma. Taking aback by such an answer, Cyrille jumped from her bed to fall to the ground, her legs failing. Her brothers helped her up and she directed her gaze to a mirror, seeing someone she didn't recognize. A pale, long haired girl that looked completely sickly, it was almost unbearable to stare at. She screamed and shut her eyes, shaking her head and shouting at the shock. After passing out from so many people entering the room at once, she awoke once more to an empty room with a note in her lap reading "We're sorry but we have to go do some errands. We'll be back tomorrow so eat and walk around. -Len and Takuto." With a long pause, trying to grasp the entire situation, how her beautiful and kind mother was in a coma, how she had lost her childhood and entered her teen years without knowing out, and no thought of her father even entered her mind at that moment.
After understanding the events to date somewhat, she stoop up from the bed, using that annoying beeping machine as a cane and began walking around the room slowly, step by step. Surprisingly enough, even after being in a come for such an amount of time, she still retained the ability to read, write, speak, and interact perfectly. After one year passed, with intense academic classes and rigorous physical activities, Cyrille, little by little, began gaining knowledge with such ease and becoming as physically fit as Takuto, now rivaling him in sports to a degree, she became a triple threat. That third threat being her newborn ability to 'phase'. She could make any part of her a semi-transparent shade and move that part through anything solid. She was no longer the generic girl. After this year of catching up on what she missed in four years, she re-met her father that summer.
A drunk man living in a small two bedroom house, the TV static and dim lights lit. She was in such shock to see such a tattered man her father, his final image in her mind of him was his back, like it always was. She was so disgusted at her father for allowing such a thing to happen. Him treating her as if she was dead led her to her depression, her depression led her mother to shove father-daughter time at them, her father not wanting that time or anything to do with his daughter decided to abandon her, him leaving her lead to her becoming so injured that she fell into a coma, that coma leading to her mother's coma. The only emotion that would register when he was within a 3 mile radius was rage. Pure hatred. Being so disgusted with her father, she notified her brother of her leave to an Academy for gifted students. They said no at first but after explaining the situation, they allowed it and they themselves. Her father to this day, lives alone in a messy, quiet, dark house. Her brothers currently both studying in Tokyo, and her mother, her beloved mother, still in a coma in a hospital here in Hokkaido but distant from the academy. Who did you PM?: Remilia.
