Through pores located around her body, Umiko is able to secrete a mist, haze, steam, or other types of surrounding water vapor, made of the water in her body. Umiko can control this ability at will, but is only able to use it when she has enough water in or around her. When she does use her ability, she is often dehydrated soon afterwords, and needs to find a source of water immediately before she passes out on the ground. If she is to pass out, she needs to be waken up by water or moisture in the air, or else she wont wake up at all.



Weapon: Skumbrella

Skumbrella is the empty wire casing of an umbrella, in which she uses to attack with. The wire is thin, so it doesn't cut to wide, but is extremely sharp, so, like piano wire, can make clean thick cuts which is able to sever limbs when enough pressure is applied. Skumbrella is uniquely designed for her by her father, and is used to gather up moisture of any kind and weave it into a thick cloth to use for the lining. This is useful when near a source of water or when it is raining.

Physical Looks: Umiko stands at 5 feet and 2 inches, quite small for her appearance, and is slender, which doesn't help her height one bit. Her eyes are a deep burgundy color, indicating her demonic origin, which are highlighted by her thin, arched eyebrows. Her bust is less than reputable, but it matches the rest of her small physique, so nothing out of the ordinary sticks out of her appearance. Her hair is a long, silky black which, for the most part, is straight with a bit of volume. Her bangs stick to the side of her face and outline her fragile jawline. But it doesn't always stay the same. Umiko is constantly changing her appearance and rearranging her hair styles.

The clothing she wears varies a lot too. Umiko loves to mix and match, so her outfits are as different as night and day, but one thing she can count on are skirts. She loves to wear skirts since they fit well with her slim body. Because she usually wears skirts, she finds various clothing, most likely the same color as the skirt, to fit over her torso. Umiko always goes for the 'Innocent' look when she wears her clothing.

What is there beyond the night? There are times filled with anxiety.
General Attitude/Personality: Umiko is a very happy ball of sunshine. She is just a beaming ray of pure bliss whenever she is able to be. Her uplifting attitude seems odd for her demonic origin, but she really can't help herself.

For her happy and cheery spirits comes a dark side though, which she shows to her battle partners and enemies. It's a flare of hatred, disgust, and abhor all wrapped up into one. But she often never shows it when she's not fighting.

Goals: Ever changing. Current Goal, to settle in at the Academy.
Likes: Compared to her happy and perky attitude, Umiko actually enjoys the more mysterious, darker, creepier aspects of life. She enjoys things like singing sad or scary songs in the middle of the night (LIKE A SPECTRE! ^_^) or reading emo poetry. The night and/or rain alone are enough to satisfy her demands.
Dislikes: Umiko isn't one to really enjoy competition. Although she is good at it, she really doesn't like it, as well as other people who compete.
Bad Habits: Umiko is just too happy. This is often her downfall and even worse, she can't really stop.
Fears: Umiko's greatest fear is falling in love. There's nothing worse than having feelings for someone. A minor fear within that, is someone falling in love with her.

Siblings: One twin brother named Umeko
History:When Umiko was born with her twin brother Umeko, she was a very silent baby. She never argued or cried. She never spoke up, or talked when she wasn't talking first to do so. She just sat there, smiling and giggling at her mother and father. The exact opposite of her brother, Umeko, who apparently loved hearing the sound of his own voice, and yelled and screamed whenever possible.

As a family of demons, Umiko grew up away from humans or hunters, roaming through forests and fields like nomads.This constant traveling always left Umiko weary, and with the little food or sleep she was given, she never grew up to be big like her mother or father was, and she often needed her happy mood to keep her alive through the bleak forests. It was then that she developed such an interest in all things morbid and macabre.

Umiko discovered her gift when she was just about 4 years old, or in human years, 50 or so. This trait was rare everywhere, let alone his family, so Umiko grew up learning how to use her fog as a means of stealth and reconnaissance. She was often left tired and weary after she had used her technique and discovered that she needed water to be able to survive.

Practicing her techniques and skills, she was given Skumbrella around the age of 6, and created deadly attacks which she could use in combination with her skumbrella to take down humans and other creatures.

Around the age of 10, her brother grew very jealous of Umiko and her gift, and decided to drive her out of the family. By placing sadistic and twisted though into her mind, he made it so that she could never think normally again. He did this to try and ruin her sensibility, but it just drove her into a deeper interest into dark and mysterious things.

His plan did work though, at around age 11, Umiko left her family.

She still lived within the woods, and on more than one occasion, came in very close encounters with his family, but she managed to allude them for over 4 years.

She then stumbled upon the Hokkaido Academy, and decided to enroll there so that her family never finds her again.
