Juubei let out a sigh and smiled. "Well it might take some time to get you to remember me, but you wont remember since I look so different now then before" he said sitting her down and sitting next to her.

*still thinking*
Your name...seems familiar...
*smiles faintly*
I'm sorry I dont remember...My memory is all fuzzy now. I cant remember a thing before my death, and even THAT is hazy..

"Oh I see.. Chi's caretaker then... That's nice..." Ichiro said to Juubei. He wonders who Juubei really was, since Chi didn't seem to remember him, but then, there was no reason to suspect thie person. His aura was clear. It showed no signs of lying or untruthfulness. On the other hand, Chi's aura was messed up, it didn't show whether she was alive or not.... there was something about her aura... it wasn't natural.

"well don't strain yourself to remember Chimi, I'll always remember
you, maybe if we went to the place we first met it might help you
remember some time" he said with a slight chuckle looking over to the boy. "as you might has guessed by my swords and my 'Aura' yes I am a hunter and I am indeed chi's careta- well former caretaker"

*keeps rubbing the scar absentmindedly, enough to let her shirt move and show it, though she doenst notice*
*stares up at the sky, humming along to a song only she can hear*

"I see... that's nice... a hunter... but why doesn't your hunter nature call you to kill creatures like Chi? Of course, not saying that you should, since Chi isn't dangerous or anything."

Ichiro takes a glance at the scar, and then listens to Chi's humming. I'm not sure whether she is alright... there's something about her aura... it's constantly changing.

*closes her eyes, beginning to sing softly under her breath, the song she was just humming*

Juubei looked up into the sky and smiled and ran his hand along the handle of the blade sitting on his hip thinking to himself. "my
old friend, we have fought so many times and we have lost and shed
blood and been bled together for years, and we have protected those
close to us, now we must protect chi once again my old friend and let
us protect her till we die" he thought looking at chi and then the boy. "because I am a hunter hunter, I hunt hunters not people like chi" he said with a smile whispering in chi's ear. "Amaranth"

*blinks a little and looks at Juubei*
You know...the song?

"I see... and that's a nice song... I best be going... I'll leave you two to reminiscence about the past." Ichiro says, taking his leave from them. Ichiro leaves the scene, walking towards the Sakura Hill where something was waiting for him...

"indeed I do, my sword and I hear the song all the time, its a song
that is unique in the mind when people can hear things" he said with a
smile. "you are similar to me chi, except we are so different at the
same time"

*tilts head*
When...people can hear things?

"yes chi, you can hear the song in your mind just like me and Tsukikage can, we are both ones who carry a voice in mind" he said with a smile as his sword shun lightly. "Baka Juubei, you had to go tell people about me didn't you, god your so stupid sometimes" Juubei laughed as she began to speak insulting him. "sorry mon ami"

*blinks*
But...I dont have a voice in my mind...Not that I can tell.

"then how can you hear the Amaranth then?" he said chuckling as Tsukikage fell silent into a sleep again. "I am sorry for her outbreak she is very protective of the things she knows"

Thats okay. Brother's sword talks to him too.

And...I dont know...Dying...changed me, I can feel that. Maybe that did it?

"its quite possible" juubei said smiling as Kiritika spoke up the blade sitting on his back. "Juu-kun I'm hungry". Juubei gave a laugh and places his hand on Kiritika's handle. "I'm sorry Kiritika we can feed you Chi's blood my little vampire, you can have some of mine later" he said smiling slightly as Kiritika fell back into a slumber again. "I'm sorry for Kiritika she's a vampiric spirit inside my sword that feeds on blood, she gets hungry sometimes and doesn't mean to outburst like that"

Oh. Okay.

Juubei smiled putting his arm around her neck resting it on her shoulder humming the song still. "Caress the one, the Never-Fading, Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow, Caress the one, the hiding amaranth, In a land of the daybreak" he said chuckling.

*smiles, singing with him, ignoring how the pain in her scar spiked for just a moment*

Juubei looked over to her still humming but stopping. "hurting somewhere m- chi?" he stopped before saying my little so he didn't have to have her trying to remember anything. "something hurting under the scar?"

*nods a little*
Just a bit...It kinda stings.

"let me see, maybe there is something underneath the skin stuck there still" he said bitting his lip worried their might be something.

*hesitantly moves her hand*

Juubei placed his hand over the scar feeling a small piece of metal as his slid his finger over the scar. "seems you got a bit of metal stuck under the skin"
