The Church

Hito smiled once more.. That guy, he escaped his reaping once..
Hito rushed forward, piercing the floor of the church with the scythe, he kicked Artix stomach once, staying where he was...

-hahaha-

artix was knocked backwards but he quickly regeained his balance and drew his wooden sword, he wasnt sure if it was going to help against this monster but he had to try. he charged blindly at reaper swinging his sword madly out of fear.

Hito easily stepped to the side. He bilked all the attacks, and kicked Artix foot, making him trip over falling on the floor. Hito smilled even colder now.. a prey.. how funny

artix began to panic, his breathing sped up along with his heartbeat. artix quickly flipped onto his stomach and slashed at reapers side from the groud then he stood up and readied himslef for an attack.

Hito was hit from the side, he endured the pain just a little bit.. and quikcly turned around, spinning hard he thrusted Chikara at Artix!.. Slashing his stomach..

artix yelled out loud as he intercepted the scythe and suddenly there was a flash of light. when the light died down the wooden sword had transformed and now looked completely different.

suddenly artix had a burst of confidence and energy as if the sword was sucking the power from all around and feeding it to the weilder. he pushed the scythe away and lunged straight for reapers throat.

Hito felt the confidence Artix suddenly became.. It shined through even in the attack he delievered.. Hito stepped to the side sliding on his heel. but something went wrong, a narrow cut was on his neck

How did it get there?

He thought about it briefly, but decided to keep on attacking without asking, he swung Chikara with full power, right at Artix leg..

artix wiped his sword down upon the scythe ad for a split second it appeared as if the scythe was about to fly out of reapers hands. until red sparks serged from the blade and artix's sword bounced back thus the scythe slashed his thigh slightly "what the?" artix exclaimed as he pulled his sword back into a defencive possition.

Hito swung Chikara once more. Rushing him toward artix, horizontally from the left, he would slice up his chest if possible...

artix blocked the blow with the side of his blade and as the two blades were pushing against one another the black and red tendrils of the swords hilt began coiling their way along the scythe and onto reapers body where they drilled into his skin. reaper felt his energy being slowly sapped away.

Hito jumped back, and released Hito from his two hand grib, only using his one hand now broke the conection fast with his free hand, and spun around, Throwing Chikara at artix. He knew it was a reckless technique with a Scythe.. But he mastered it so well it already kicked A**..

artix wited until the scythe was in range then he ducked and thrusted his blade upwards so that his sword collided with the scythes then he spun around and sent the scythe hurtling back towards reaper "i was weak before but now i have something to live for" artix yelled out with fire gleaming in his eyes.

Hito smilled. A weird feeling build up in his mind. He did not feel like hurting artix to much.. Someone who wanted to fight him like that. should live.. But on the other hand. he'd much rather kill artix, and disobey Chikara.. Chikara was like his father at some times..

-Njeh-

He said it in a weird way, as he closed his eyes, and grabed Chikara again, This time, he threw the chain at Artix it would wrap around his leg, imobilizing it for just a sec.

suddenly a chai had wrapped around artix's legs, he tried to move but found it impossible, he tried whacking the chain but found them unbreakable. his eyes flashed pink with frustration as he stood in a defencive stance ready for whatever might come next. "damnit" he muttered

The chain was pulled hard, pulling the balance out of artix. it made it almost impossible to dodge or block as it is.. He rushed forward, trying to cut Artix across his chest--

artix was knocked off balance but had not yet fallen, as reaper charged him artix threw himself to the floor making reaper fly straight over him. then artix jumped forwards and swung his chained leg across sending reaper flying through oe of the church walls.

Hito was almost thrown at the church wall, but he easily slashed it up in a pentagram sign, crashing right through the pentagram, he didn't take any damage from that, then in one slash he slashed through the church wall once more, making alot of the church wall crumble..

one thing artix didnt count on was the fact that he was chained to reaper, he looked down at his leg with an expression of both annoyance and surprise "aw crap" he muttered before he was whisked away after reaper.

artix tiwsted his body in the air and as soon as he was within range he slashed reapers back and kicked him to the floor.

Hito was slashed in his back. Though it being a shallow wound it stilll hurt. He threw Chikara , pulling the chain slightly with his left hand, he made it hard to see, Then he was kicked to the floor, and just as that happened Chikara came back, Hopefully slicing artix up..

artix held his shoulder which was bleeding prufusely, chikara the ssythe had just ripped its way through artix's flesh. with the last of his might artix swung his blade down upon the chain around his leg, slicing straight through.

"you see...at the moment reaper we are equals....but we will meet again and we shall continue to meet until one of us surpasses the other...but for now....i cant afford to die" he called out as he dived through an open window and dissapeared into the night.

Hito stood up with a confident smile. For some reason he didn't feel like pursueing him.. This was second time he got away... It would be sad to kill him off like that....

-Che you win-

A single clap echoed through the stone walls of the church, they resonated from a man sitting cross legged on a cross, he had a large grin on his face.

-Bravo! but don't you think it goes against your job to be letting your prey escape so easily?

hito turned away, Pointing Chikara at him, his eyes burned with a passion..

-Maybe maybe not... a small fry prey can always get away.. we want it to grow don't we?-

Vlad hopped down from the cross looking at hito grinning

-Aye, spoken like a true hunter! What's your name?

Vlad stood there arms crossed with that ever so apparent smirk

Hito disapeard out of sight sight, reapering as he tripped over a bench in the church, tripping around, he rolls into vlad. slamming him into the wall of the church, not intentionally anyway..

Getting up he wipes the dirt of his clothes, looking at vlad....
